We know that skiing isnt really going to be the problem. its going to be everything else. Blue opening with come around and midway, and just running main street chair really funnels people into one massive pile of people. As far as i am concerned, i think they need to run every lift, all the time, to spread everybody out. We all know Blue cant get the 6 and the quad to run simultaneously for more than half an hour. i have an email that says they will give me the "flex" and Peacock Premium. the brief research i did on Peacock kinda turned up about the same as what you posted. Maybe some older shows with commercials, maybe some movies. Doesnt seem to be anything earth shattering, but maybe there is something there.

I havent answered my home phone in years. i distinctly remember getting exactly one message in the last year that was a legit call. I do answer my cell, and have gotten tons of "the warranty on your car is about to expire" calls. i ask them which car they are referring to. They ask for the VIN. i tell them "you called me about it, so you tell me. i have 16 cars" they hang up. Like RidgeRacer said, we are just going deeper into the woods. 1200 is bad. i doubt we will lockdown like before, maybe similar, but bars, restaurants, laser tag, concerts, etc, will pay the price. We as a society will continue to fuck this up, even though we know exactly what has to be done.

I dont think we have to go into hiding to make things better. Alot of us are living proof of that, going to work every day, being smart, making good decisions. Its my opinion bars and the likes will continue to be scrutinized, and remain a big issue. I mean, at the end of the day, do you really have to go to the bar? The answer is no. you dont. If there were no bars life would still go on. We as Americans are stubborn, selfish, and feel its our god given right to go drink in a bar. I do also realize that everyone can make a choice not to go into a bar, but its just really not that simple with the spread of Covid-19. Just for the record, i'm all for shutting the bars down. I do realize how unpopular that is, but it is what it is. i want this thing in the rear view asap.

The vaccine doesnt bother me as much as the virus thing does though. The managers assistant in my office scares the shit out of me. He is in the age group that seems to feel impervious to the virus. Made mention of going out to dinner on dates, bars with friends, etc, kinda seems like he just cant lay back for a little and see how this goes, i guess feels like he needs to be the test pilot. He really feels he doesnt need to wear a mask around the office, and he is actually not in an office, just this kind of open area, so there is tons of traffic around him. I figure if he lacks judgement at work, its certainly out the window when he leaves here. Before we got tested on Friday, i heard him say "if i have this thing im gonna be so mad." Fucking schmuck.

All three are in quarantine. Obviously my boss had contact with her, so he felt its best he stay home. We took the test Friday, i got my results last night, i assume all of the results were in last night as well, so, from what i have heard, i think thats pretty good turn around, considering it was basically over a weekend. We had 2 employees on the same crew call out sick on the same day, with the same symptoms. we sent them to get tested, and it took forever. in fact, longer than 2 weeks. so my boss went and hired this company to handle our testing. this was a "test run".

i tested negative for Covid-19. Yippee. Obviously this is good news, of course, but really it just means that i didnt have it prior to 9:15 am Friday. Not like finding out my test was negative changes how i currently do things. No one in the office or shop tested positive, but my Boss's daughter did, and the accountant ladys other son has now tested positive.

Lodges and perhaps the parking lot as much as I hate to say that. Im missing how the parking lot is compared to the Lodge? There is a lot to think about, and iron out....issues that we dont really have to deal with like going in the lodge, ticket window, shuttle, rentals, and the list goes on. TNT brings up a good point....i mean when its single digits, or even teens, tons of people go in the lodge to warm up. Cant really tell people they cant go in the lodge when its 5 degrees out.

I was listening to wolfs press conference. He said you had to have food with your drink. So, define “food”. Crackers? then later the news said you need to sit at table with your food and drink. our club never re-opened, which i know was wildly unpopular, but i think its the right call, however, they do have a deck with outside tables, but just opening that would be a shit show.

So we had 2 employees call out sick on the same day about 3 weeks ago, with the same symptoms. they were on the same crew, and always ride together in a truck. They were told to get tested and stay home until results were in. They were at home for 2 weeks before they got their results, so they were allowed to come back. We got at least one result back, and it was negative. In the meantime, the accountant ladies son tested positive for Covid-19. She has been working at home mostly, but was in maybe last tuesday or something. (i havent seen her in a long time). She has been tested, but still waiting on results, which again is taking at least 2 weeks to get back. So my boss has contracted some type of independent company to handle testing at our company, and supposedly results are 1-2 days. As a "test run" all of the office staff are getting tested on Friday, which based on the email, should include myself. Cant wait. I do believe my boss, and some other office staff in the other side of the building (theres kind of 2 seperate office spaces here, the old side, and the new side) have some concerns about being in contact with this person. I now see some more frequent mask wearing on the other side, that i havent seen before. And, one foreman that i really like, told someone this morning "this will all be gone after November". So, just so you are all aware, skiing will be just like it was last year.
