Not that i want to fly right now, but i wouldnt even consider frontier if they paid me, since their business model is to fly you to three other airports before getting you to your final destination.

Most tire marks will go away, but it may take more than a few days. If the driver pulled in stopped, and turned his wheels pretty good, that might not go away so much. and you dont want to seal it for about 3 months. Just the opposite. Cooler temps would be better.

blowing off a few rounds out of my 12 gauge at my old house was definitely going to attract a little attention.

i didnt know this. i relocated 2 unwanted under-shed dwellers at my old house. I do have a have-a-heart trap that can be loaned out should you go that way. They are not always the easiest animal to trap though. you would most likely trap your neighbors cat before the groundhog. Groundhogs are evil, smelly creatures btw. My 17 lb Rat Terrier went fisties with one once, and won the first match. I made sure there was no re-match. My neighbors landscaper pointed out to me that Deer were really doing a number on my Arborvitaes. i knew they were nibbling on them, but i never really saw how bad they fucked them up. I went for the irish spring soap, since i had some on hand.

Oh, and one of our big thinkers today showed up wearing a ski facemask thing. He didnt see it being a problem.

im going with thats the Mothers Day effect. Seems like people since havent been quite as vigilant or they are just sick of the whole damn thing. i predict more numbers like that.
-
He does seems a little extra Karen today.

Mauch Chunk i think is uphill from Beltzville, cause it seems like shit dont flow down hill to it. For some reason i think MC doesnt get completely shitted up like Beltzville. Hickory Run will be a zoo this weekend tho.

Ok then, Hickory Run.

Delco always being better than everyone else. https://www.inquirer.com/health/coronavirus/delaware-county-coronavirus-high-rate-reopen-20200519.html?cid=Philly.com+Facebook&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=Philly.com+Facebook+Account&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwAR3HytIGd0QHqPWrcWGfH1EzUx4XWOKQkKbtorC1nQDEwRN7JkqHEMRqO8Q Delco will probably get to #2 in PA pretty soon. We have been catching up to Montgo pretty quick.

No big deal. there is always Beltzville lake. Thats normally not crowded anyways.

And just look at the grass. What a mess!

Bad things happen when i try to ride a motorcycle. Nobody wants to see me on a motorcycle.

The more i think about this, the more i get kind of jealous of @RidgeRacer. I would so love to take a spin around that track in one of my cars, just to say i did it. I do think they have open track time, but still, the graduation thing is pretty cool.

Well, they raced at Rockingham, NC, which is like centrally located to probably 90% of the race teams shops. I'm not exactly sure when the teams showed up, but they just showed up to race. No practices, no qualifying, no fans. Minimal crew, as i saw the engineers that were usually at the track were back at their shops hooked up to laptops and other stuff to communicate with. So really, most people could have just showed up Sunday morning, no flights, no renting hotel rooms, etc. I do know they ran the cars through tech, but i dont know if that was Saturday or Sunday Am. Usually this is a whole weekend full of stuff. Not that Nascar can go on forever not having people at the track buying tickets, shirts, corn dogs and funnel cake, but can the Olympics be held without an audience? Is it worth doing? Also, i have no idea if the Nascar crews are flown to other tracks commercially, or privately. I know the drivers fly private planes. I dont know how i would feel right now about having to fly on a commercial plane.

yeah, hotels, food, shit like that gets really cut in half with just one weekend. Businesses will feel that, but the people that dont see the race track being a benefit to their economy will be doing back flips. Honestly, they have the traffic thing figured out at Pocono. its like the easiest track to get in and out of for the race. Dover is a disaster, and add in shore traffic it becomes a disaster with a nightmare-ish twist. Most people in the Poconos are too stupid to be able to figure out how to avoid the race track for 2 weekends out of the year. It must be in their path to the Walmart, and they cant figure out how to get to the Walmart using other roads, and going to Walmart is a must for them.

Wow, thats really interesting. Thanks for sharing. I would think this might help to give @RidgeRacer some more track time possibly.

That car is definitely affordable, since i think the design team was a group of toddlers . i think i have more in ski gear than that car is worth. I want to clarify my sentence......it should say "maybe rent some type of sporty supercar? the Corvette is probably the car that would be the most affordable sporty supercar that would be easily obtained.
-
Hopefully the shit heads in the area that just complain about the traffic twice a year will realize the track does bring in $$ to the area, and can be used for good and not evil. And i will say no way to there being an audience at the first Pocono date. Maybe the second, but thats usually only a few weeks behind the first one.
-
you got the "low end" part right, but i think you may have misunderstood the entire sentence.
-
Rent something a little more sporty. And i would say the Corvette would be on the low end of sporty and affordable.

Hopefully we wont see the rise in cases from last weekend, decent weather and moms day. If they do go up, we are screwed. IMO that would be just a teaser for things to come.
