yea i called at 2 today and they told me they were shooting for friday but should definately be open before next monday

it was just snowing pretty heavily in lower macungie(ten minutes from where bear is) and i was jsut wondering if there was a significant difference in the temperature at which snow falls and the temperature in which snow can be made...i know humidity plays a role but according the WFMZ.COM it is 31 degrees with the temperature not gettin over 32 until 2 P.M. wednesday and the humidity is between 50% 69% and according to bears snowmaking chart that is in the yellow zone(marginal snow making) so is there like something i'm not taking into consideration

bear could be blowing now the temp at 11 is 32 with 52% humidity thats a wet bulb temp of 26.8 and the wet bulb temp wont go into the not possible to make snow red zone untli about 3 then around 5 they can resume blowing

agreed who doesnt like a little varietyo and have the 420 box in the snow a little more like boulder i dont think its meant to be a pro. feature its usually where kids learn a lot of new tricks and who wants to learn new stuff with the possibility of a 6 foot drop onto Eastern ice pack

i'm about 90% sure that were not allowed to hike. ME and 2 of my friends tried to hike the mini park because we figured that would be more hidden if someone was lookin and as we were walkin up security yelled at us... but later we hiked the middle park up the the flow and the S rail and the red rail and nobody said anything except the drunken employees on the deck(who were really really funny, one threw a beer bottle and it broke on the sidewalk and another came down and tried to throw a snowball at us and he almost killed himself walkin LMFAO.) anyway back on subject we hiked the flow and it was pretty nice its just that sumbody will have to bring/donate a shovel because everything will get rutted out fast as it slushes. but i dont know about hiking it was kinda a just whatever day after 4.

so a couple of kids can do tricks on sum fucking ice skates. i dont care wat there called they look gay its hard to resist not like hiting them with a brick of ice. in the beginning of the season i was okay with people using them. but on presidents day weekend i got cut off by like 15 of them in 1 day...I will never accept skiboards,snowskates,snowblades,skiblades anything they call them. Resorts should be strictly for skiers and boarders not half assed wannabes.

maybe i should put this in the wishlist but o well. according to all those hard working people maybe bear creek should buy a weater machine and a bubble to cover the entire moutain with...honestly, if you're still blaming bear for the bad start u need to grow up because unless they get a bubble and a weather machine they're never going to control what the temperatures/water level in the pond is. so everyone who is complaining and hates bear just quit posting here and if you feel like ranting how much bear sucks then go to a different forum. most people on here are just happy with riding. so please take your bear creek sucks garbage and get outta this topic.
