I second this first of all because we can have the same beginner features on any trail we want, its not like we need them to be on cascade. Secondly i would like to see cascade have strictly big features on it to give beginners no reason to be on it. It would make no sense that people would complain that cascade is not open because the only difference is that the trail is switched: all the same features would be there. And in the long run it would make the most sense to do this because we would get more snow there quicker and they would not have to open it until it was perfect. Keep us satisfied with a nice park, then blow us away with an amazing park.

Im gonna be there from about 430 to 8 and looking for some people to ride with, ill be wearing greysnow pants and a navy and gray jacket, and my helmet has a small foursquare sticker on the side. so if you see me and feel like riding the just call out shane.

I thought that the subaru was pretty nice (i was expecting a bigger gap on and off, but what ever) but yesterday, maybe because it was really warm, it was kinda sticky. It slid fine on boardslides but i went to nosepress it and i almost flipped halfway through because of how much i stuck, but other than that i loved it.

I think that its going to be in cascade... in the new park blog BC- Mark said that he was putting an urban slopestyle setup down the cliff... i got a vibe.

i built 2 boxes a while ago and covered them in a thin steel piece and it slid but didnt go on as clean as i wanted. Does any body know what the name of the white surface material is on the boxes at most mountains, and if so, do you know where i can buy it?

Went to sno for the first time since last year (and it was montage then) so first time ever. Everyu single jump was nassstttyy. The long takeoffs floated you better then any i have been on. All the rails/boxes were real nice yesterday a little sticky though. Complete turnaround from last year. more then i could have expected. Kudos to sno's park crew.

Does this day include offpeak pass holders?

Check this... a stepup jump to a platform (like to the top of a table) which would serve as a manny pad, with a down rail at the end of the platform. If you cant picture it i may have to draw it for you.

How big is it?
-
does this mean that the jumps are not going to get any bigger than this...i hope not
-
unless they have moved the jump since sunday, which i am almost positive that they didnt, then that jump is closer to 30 feet than 50

I remember that last year there was talk of putting in some big 50 foot booters. I was wondering if you guys were going to try to put a few in and if you were then where and when?

If any of you have seen mountain lab, then you have seen their triple piknik table setup: up gap to flat gap to down. that is such a mellow setup and some buttery tricks could be thrown onto that setup. If bear got something like that i probably would session it all day.

weeerrrrd to that. That idea would bring in 100 times more money then a mountain bike park and it would be so much sicker.
