Can anyone please describe the jumps? (how many, lip to knuckle distance, takeoff, landing) What was that stuff people were hitting that was slowing everyone down?

I'm trying to decide whether to go up to Killington with some friends this weekend. Any good jump lines in their parks? (how many?, size?, conditions?) How are the conditions up there?

The only posts I got in this thread for people going to JFBB today are from 2 people not going to JFBB today .

Blue has pre-season conditions so they have to charge half price. Big Boulder has mid-season conditions that is why they are charging mid-season prices. A group of our members took that 1/2 price deal at Blue over the better conditions at Big Boulder this weekend.. I heard that was a big mistake. I guess 2 people having their boards stolen at Blue was just icing on the cake. Look on the bright side, buy a season pass at JFBB now and the early and late season conditions will pay for itself.

Good luck with the conditions at Blue. I am going to post a thread in the LOUNGE to ask for people to objectively compare JFBB to Blue Mountain right now. I'd appreciate your OBJECTIVE input.

Thanks Rob. I was hoping someone had a direct # for park crew, Snow employee, or someone that had recently hit the park. There is a video up on the Mt SNow Park site. It looked good from what little I saw.

Rob- I told Nipps I'd take him up and to PM me his phone #. He said he doesn't have a phone. As long as I don't go to Mt Snow, I'll take him. Hell, I might even go to Boulder in the morning and then leave for Snow in the evening. Let me know if you want me to call you guys and at what #.

Than dayis also the "Running of the Santas" at Finnigans Wake and McFaddens in Philadelphia. All day/night party. One of the best days of the year.

I read this after I got your PM. If you don't come to Mt Snow, I will try to find you a ride up with someone from my Philly group. If I don't go to Mt Snow, I will be going to BB. We usually meet up in Manayunk, Conshoken, or at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. Can you get to any of those places to be picked up?

A few friends and I are thinking of running up to Mt Snow this weekend. Any ideas on how do I get an honest and independent description of the parks and their features??? I always call the park crew, but I can't always get them on the phone and it's nice to get a 3rd party report. Plus, anyone have any connections up there ????? Thanks.

That is EXACTLY whay I am am afraid to go to Whistler. I hear weather is a real gamble. Which is a shame, because everyone says Whistler has both the best riding and the best nightlife in North America. A Canadian resort might be the call for ya Jules if you are underage and want to hit the bars on vacation. Canadians drinking age is 19.

I love Mt Snow. It has the my favorite parks and the Grand Summit Hotel is NICE. The hotel is on the slope and the spa is SICK. I'm hate to admit it, but I almost enjoy the outdoor pool/jacuzzis, steam room, and sauna as much as I do the riding. If the OP is a girl, the spa has other services and the girls in our group really enjoyed it.

Nice edit. Thanks for posting. I stated this thread to make sure it was worth driving up to Boulder last weekend. No one has to worry anymore. Big Boulder is already legit with mid-season conditions. Big Props to Boulder for getting it done so early.
