SNO!zone and Xscape hmmmmmm............

Ya like that one Fluff? I wonder when some developer with a huge set of balls will build something like this in the NYC area. It would be interesting to see how the business model would perform. It would suck for small park focused hills like BB if these things caught on in urban areas, huh? I actually do have some suggestions for you. What phone # can I reach you at and who should I ask for?
-
It's not your bad. People shouldn't have to be on the lookout for sarcastic comments on message boards all the time.
-
Sorry. I have a few more suggestions for you. What's the best phone # to reach you and who should I ask for?
-
How hard would it be for BB to set up some kind of "tow rope" to pull you back up to the top of the park? I can think of a few qhetto-engineered solutions. It can't be that difficult, right?
-
Ok. Flame suit on........What if you usually don't hit rails and when you do, you just straight 50-50 them. Is it cool to show up and session them all day? I was planning on skipping the event, but what hours will there be BB be open to anyone that day?
-
Well, I didn't have any seizures that day, but I did run over 2 "Emo" kids with skin tight jeans that were standing in the same spot. Then THEY gave me an attitude. I love taking pictures at the track, but I stay behind the wall in the pit lanes or in the stands. If I got caused a collision while taking pics on the track, it would be my fault and I'd do nothing but run off the track and apologize afterwards....if I was still breathing. I assumed it was something like a special lens and I appreciate you explaining that. But even then, you got to get your shot and get out of the way...right? I know you like those dudes and I know they didn't get in your way. But, they did get in my way on every run and it got on my nerves. If they moved and were polite about it, it would have been cool. If other parks were were open, I would have just moved to another park to avoid the shoot. But, there was limited features open and you have to share what's available. Meaning.....hit it and get out of the way for the next guy. Right?
-
Yes. He was in our way. No. He doesn't need to be inches from the feature to take shots. No. I don't give a fuck who he is. That crew taking pics were in the way and then acted like assholes when it was pointed out to them. If your're going to take pics, you need stay out of the way. Period. <---- see my avatar

Can anyone ride BB on 5/3/08? Or, is the mountain only open for those in the comp?
-
What's the "right" way to handle that situation? I mean, if a guy is in the way EVERYTIME you hit a feature? (My avatar pretty much shows what I'm thinking.)
-
The guy in the red hoodie was annoying. He always pushes right up on the riders when taking shots and gets in the f#cking way.

Ok. I 'm ready to accept that the season is over. I'm going out with my non-snowboarding bastich friends and getting ridiculously drunk because I'm incredibly depressed that the season is over and because I've been blowing off my friends every weekend because they don't ski. It' going to be an ugly night. This may be my last post. So..... THANK YOU to everyone who posted great info on here and brought me back to the Poconos after I had given up on them. To those I've ridden with, I hope to ride with you again. =) Take care everybody.

Before I pack my gear away for the year.... Is anyone down with hitting Vermont or Maine this weekend? As always, I can drive or split gas, tolls, and lodging. I prefer Mt. Snow, but I'm open for suggestions. I talked to a few people that have house spots available at Sunday River for riding and a Jimmy Buffet "thing" this weekend. But, they are out of Boston and I'm not doing the drive by myself.
-
The guy that designs and builds those jumps at Okemo is from Washington Township, NJ which is 15 minutes east of Philly. I met him and his girlfriend in town and they were very cool. He actually went to school with a couple of my cousins.
-
Are you saying that if I ask a complete stranger for their first and last name online, I should identify myself first???
-
Anyone talking smack against me is just trying to pile on from disagreements from the past. It's obvious, it's weak, and kind of cheesy. If you have an issue, you know what to do. Regards to Fluffy, I stand by my statements. If you look at his post history, he posts from a position of authority, and then claims he's a "little grunt" and refuses to say who he is or what he does. It's strange behavior.......especially when employees from other mountains post under their own names and freely post what they do on the mountain.
-
All 12 hours spent behind the wheel and all alone? Hitting the mountain all by yourself? Then, having to pay 100% of the gas, tolls and lodging on top of it? I've done it before, and it's definitely not as much fun as the other options. But, have fun.
-
If the guy is credible, he should support his credibility. Check his post history. He is lying either way. Either he is someone with "authority" at JFBB, and then he is lying about being a "little grunt". Or, he truly is a "little grunt", then he doesn't really have the information authority that he posts. Either way, he should just come clean about who he is and what he does.
-
So am I. You have a history of posting "mountain info" with the attitude of someone who has some authority, and then you claim to be a "little worker grunt". My question has EVERYTHING to do with this conversation. Who are you and what do you do at the mountain?
-
No one is starting trouble Fluffy. It's just shady that you come on here saying that you are a JFBB employee and post operational info, and then you won't say who you are or what you do at JFBB. Posting the info that you do, and then being evasive about who you are afterwards, is just strange. That's all. It's also interesting that you have so much information on the ENTIRE spectrum of things going on at JFBB since you are suck a "little grunt worker". (lifts, glades, building projects, etc) Why don't you just come clean about who you are already?
-
It's not nice to make fun of people's typos. You said it's not "top secret", so can you just post who you are and what you do at JFBB?
-
It's cool if he wants to remain incognegro But, he already posted that he works at JFBB and has operational information. What's the big deal? Employees from other mountains post under their real names.
-
You have posted some great "officially unofficial" info that has been really informative for everyone You just posted "it's not top secret" and that you work at JFBB. So, c'mon Fluffy. Many would like to know who you are and what you do at JFBB. Thanks again for the info you've been posting regarding JFBB's future plans. Please keep us all posted.
