It's nice to see someone who knows what they are talking about posting an honest assessment on here for a change. The SAME thing has been posted on here many times. But, the kids that can't ride park, or the those that are blindly loyal to Blue, will argue against logic and then resort to personally attacking people.

-How many people posting in this thread will even throw anything off of a jump that they would acutally use an airbag for progression? -How many people in this thread actually ride freestyle features and cares about the future of the park scene at Blue and in PA? If both of the above do not apply to you, do you really think you should be posting in this thread? If so, why?

Well Ashy, since you might be the only one staking on topic, I'll address this to you. I hope Barb was just spewing whatever was ont he top of her head that day and is not going to kill the parks at Blue. I think that would be horrible for Blue and the PA scene in general. Choice is good. COmpetition should make all the competing terrain parks better. If Blue kills their parks, everyone loses. Airbags posting in an airbag thread. I hear you. But, please don't shoot the messenger. I'm just quoting exactly what Barb said to me directly. I don't claim to be important or know what the future holds. All I can do is report what she said. It's just sad that some people will insult strangers and attempt to make them look like liars simple because they post what an owner told them. Even worse, when the person attacked politely and logically offers to remove all question and just get all parties on the phone, the offer gets ignored and the bashing contniues. I just got off the phone with another PASR and we talked about this this thread and how it reminds us both how lame things have become around here and why we have lost interest in this site. I had the almost the same discussion with some other PASRs I rode with last nite. I am grateful for all the information found here and the friendships I have made through this site. But some of the reglar "posters" make's this site a chore to deal with because of their immature drama.

You obviously don't understand the difference between quantity and quality. The measure of one's contrubution to a site is not based on how many posts they can spam it with. If it was, you wouldn't have a rating of -291. The only reason I'm posting this is because what Barb is contemplating could affect many people on this site and I knew those people would want to hear about this so they culd try to stop this from happening I see what happens when people get into these pissing matches with the "usual suspects" around here. I do not want to get involved in that. So, forget about giving me a hard time and deal with the issue at hand. This is the last time I'm going to respond to you. Instead of calling me a liar, why don't you and I just have a conference call right now with Barb to verify? At the end of the call, I want a full apology posted by you and the rest of the peanut gallery. Whether you want to believe it or not, the conversation happened and Barb said those words to me. In fact, I'm looking at the letter Barb mailed me after our conversation last week on my desk right now. Instead of accusing someone you don't know of being a liar, why don't you just go and ask Barb yourself? Wouldn't that be much more intellingent and a lot less childish? For the record, I never claimed to be somone special, nor do I think I am. Howver, I don't appreciate being called a liar in a public by stangers. Furthermore, I find it ironic that the people that "moderate" this place are the ones who posting like children in this thread.

'twas a GREAT time. I enjoyed killing Spike park with BB and CB park crew I took to the event. I heard some guy crushed a Coors Light girl in the bathroom and then stomped the guy who kept banging on the door trying to end the fun. It's a shame. The cops detained the poor guy for an hour for handling his business and eventually had to let hime go. Oh well. JADIP.

I talked to Barb last week. It's true. In the middle of our conversation, she expressed concern about why people aren't hitting the Cental Park. She came flat out and said she is thinking about terminating the entire park scene at Blue. This came directly from Barb's mouth, to my ear. I told her, in my opinion, that would be a major mistake and supported my position. My suggestions were for the park to be moved to another run that had some straight/steep area for a jump line and more room to spread out the features. At this point, she brought up the possibility of creating an additional trail for the park. I told her that if Blue could clear an area that would be perfect for an advanced park and have a great crew to design, build, and maintain the park, she would get season pass money along with many others. Let's hope she does the right thing.

Looking forward to this event. Who from PASR and Big Boulder will be there?

I was OBVIOUSLY not referring to you. I think you ride well. True. But, I'm all for anything that limits the amount of people that shouldn't be in the park from being there.

Good point. I see where you are coming from as well. But, I assume having one lift to access the park helps keep those that shouldn't be in the park out. I agree that having an option to get some freeriding in on the way to the park is nice. But, giving that up in exchange for less drama in the park is a good exchange in my opinion. You can always check out some of the other trails for some free riding in between park sessions.

I agree. Negative comments made by people who can't even ride park can be ignored.

I gave you my solution: MOVE the park to a straight run. Stop making excuses. If the improvements warrant it, charge for park access. I'm not instigating anything. The bottom line is this: If you love park, and actually have ridden a GREAT park (or even BB and CB), you would be honest with yourselves about Blue's shortcomings. The Blue Leg Humpers are obviously NOT honest with themselves, or with this board. The questions is, why aren't they? I WANT BLUE TO IMPROVE. No. You don't hit any jumps. You're full of shit. People you ski with have told me in person how funny it is that you suck as much as you do. Fact. Dan- Thanks for verifying what I've always KNOWN and have been arguing with these kids about. For the record, I NEVER said I ride Blue a lot. I hit Blue maybe twice a year to see if the parks have improved. The bottom line is the jumps are too close together, on a curved section, and the features are NOT well maintained. If Blue moves the park, and does everything I've been spelling out, I would be a Blue regular.

Stop telling ME what I saw with my OWN EYES and actually RODE. There was a final jump after the turn/wall ride. I know, because it was the biggest one at Blue that day and I called my friend who was with me to verify. Look, Blue used to be MY HOME MOUNTAIN years ago. I just want them to step up. That's it.
