You hit the lottery with your GF. I would LOVE to find a girl that could rip in the park or bomb runs with me. All the girls I have met would rather stay home on the weekends, or hit the bunny slopes.

PM me with the details. I'm definitely in. Maybe we can get some other PASR people to go? Is it a bus trip, or do people car pool? I'm asking because Stratton is a short drive away and worth the trip if you drive yourself. I used to be part of 2 different ski clubs and went to VT on their bus trips a lot. But, I found getting a few people together and sharing the ride/hotel room was cheaper AND you could go where and when you want. I LOVE the parks at Snow/Stratton and hitting the pools/jacuzzis afterwards.

Me too!!! The baseplate from my Burton P1's cracked completely through this weekend. This is the second pair of Burton bindings that have failed on me. I have to get new ones, so I have to ask: Anyone else having problems with Burton bindings? Any Burton binding recommended in case Burton gives me some options? (thinkin about the C60 or the Co2) Any want to recommend other brands/models? I spend most of my time going fast and hitting medium and large tabletop jumps. I have a Burton Custom x 160, Burton Sabbath boots, and cracked Burton P1 bindings

I used to hit Mt Snow all the time because they always had great jumps, and the girl I was dating loved the spa there. I loved the terrain parks at Snow and the hotel pool and jacuzzi are SWEET. I'm always down to do a trip to Snow if any PASR members wanna put something together.

Why don't you crawl back under the rock you crawled out from. *self edit*

I usually don't post too much about the conditions because I'm not that good at describing things. But, the last jump is a little bigger than the first on Love park I was able to make it deep into the landings on both jumps by avoiding the fire hydrant spine and rails in order to keep my concentration and speed up.

Three buddies of mine are home from college, so we all went up to BB today. Conditions and terrain were great. Love Park was awesome (again) and we spent most of our time on there. We're heading back tomorrow and hope to see some PASR members. I wear a brown Burton Ronin jacket, tan pants, black helmet while riding a white board with black bindings. The four of us should be together all day and riding Love park. We should be easy to spot. If anyone wants to post a place and time for PASR people to meet up, feel free to do it in this thread. Everyone had a lunch at Shenanigans for the last PASR day and had a good time. It's in a central location (couple hundred yards from the entrance to BB) and the food is decent. (French dip sandwich for $10 was great) http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3720782718 My buddies have to be back in Maryland by 6pm, but I might stay and get a room Sunday night so I can do the "Midnight Madness" and ride Monday too. Hopefully, some of my other friends will meet me up there late Sunday. I'm open for suggestions on where to get a room if other people are staying up there as well.

Weather.com is calling for rain and sleet all night. I'm trying to decide whether or not to go up tomorrow from Philly? (and go to bed now or go out) It would be great to hear what it's doing (rain/snow/nothing) from someone up there now, and what they think the conditions will be/are tomorrow. Any details on Love Park's rebuild? If anyone wants to meet up, or wants to ride up with me, shoot me a PM with your info.

Sorry man. I have a habit of posting like that because I think it easier to read compared to posts that are typed all the way across the screen, without any spaces, like this one here. I hope it didn't piss you off that much and no one else minds. I'm not much of a poet. However, I've been caught spitting Cypress Hill or Jay-Z when I'm boarding or riding my motorcycle. Does than count? Those measurements seems about right to me. I didn't get stuck with any ice on the landings when I was there, so I guess I lucked out. Like I said, I loved LOVE before and I hope they rebuild it with more of the same jumps that they had.

I liked LOVE when it was up. I thought the jumps were great. I hope they rebuild it with similar sized jumps, I just hope that they at least 1 or 2 more. I'm horrible at judging size. How big do you guys think those 2 jumps were before they tore it down? I know they were big enough to keep the gapers off, but not too big to clear if you kept your speed up. Although, I landed on the 2nd jump's knuckle at least once. As far as not having enough "pop", I thought the take-offs were perfect and I hope they don't add any pop at all. I don't like Freedom. The jumps were too small and I don't hit boxes or rails. For me, that's what the REAL Love Park is for.

Sorry if this is a repost.... What about PASR stickers for our helmets so we can recognize other members on the mountain? I think I've seen them before. Where do we get them?

Hey everyone- A few friends and I are headed up to Big Boulder tomorrow for our 1st day of boarding/skiing. I hope to see a lot of you on the slopes. We will probably be spending most of our time in "Love" park. We might do an early brunch at Piggy's or a late dinner at Shenanigan's. If anyone wants to meet up, post your info and idea in here. (example: Shenanigan/Piggy's for Lunch/Dinner at xx:xx time)

How else can you rent a room? It's been a tradition to do exactly that with million dollar houses at the New Jersey shore for years. (Avalon, Sea Isle, Wildwood, etc.) The optimal situation would be for a couple PASR members to get together and rent a house for the entire season and split the costs evenly among the "shareholders". Having other housemates to hit the slopes, restaurants, and night life with is the best part of having a group rental. How much each share is worth obviously depends on the number of shareholders and the entire cost to rent the property for the season. My friends and I did a 3 bedroom house a few years ago with a hot tub and a fireplace for $3,000 for the entire season. We had 10 shareholders at $300 a piece. I have never rented a seasonal "room" before. But, I'm open for suggestions.
