Another worthless post in a park discussion from a kid who doesn't ride park. There WAS a final jump after the last wall ride and turn. SO, there was turn in the middle of the jump line. Regardless, the jump line is too close together and should be on a better run.

You sound biased towards racers and you're leg humping Blue. Posting you have as much fun in Blue's park as Okemo's is laughable. Regardless, you got ONE thing right, Okemo has a great park. News Flash: Park IS a big part of the sport and it's growing. So, charge for park privileges. In exchange, built it on an acceptable trail, and not an afterthought, build great features, PROPERLY MAINTAIN them, and keep it safe by restricting access to those without passes. THAT is a recipe for success. I don't care about Blue's issues with trail allocation and their layout. It's not my problem, it;s theirs. If they don't fix it, people are going to go elsewhere. BB and CB parks absolutely CRUSHED Blue in the last few years. Let's hope Blue can finally get their shit together. As far as the little personal "comments" you threw in your posts against me.

The "Sobe PArk" at Okemo is great. Although, the jumps are HUGE. A local guy from Washington Township that skates with my cousin was the park mgr. last time I was there. It's a small world. If you tell me that Blue can't find a straight run, I'll accept it because it's your home mountain. It sounds like bullshit, but I'll accept it. But, me, and the trips I organize, will be avoiding Blue until they can get it done.

You're mistaken. I met you 3 years ago when I rode with a whole crew of PASR's at JF in the morning and BB later in the afternoon. We had lunch at Shenannigans and talked cars for a good part of lunch. I approached you and Doug at CB this past spring because I was tired of you both running your mouths online. I think you 2 keep mistaking me for other people. I've never had a moustache and I'm not a light weight. I'm just one of a large number of people who are NOT going to ride Blue if they don't get their parks together. You don't ride park, so you'll never see me on the mountain. Come to think of it. I was referring to when I came up to you and Doug and said something like "are you two gonna run your mouths now?" and you looked at the ground and went silent. It's funny you 2 even post in park threads when you couldn't even follow my crew though the park when invited, let along hit the booters you 2 said required a "death wish". Glenn- You know I like you. I had a good time riding with you before your move to CO. I just think that people shouldn't say anything online they wouldn't say, and back up, in person. Having a great park is as important as the other uses you listed for the other trails, if not more important. The park should be relocated to a straighter trail. Even if a new trail needs to be created to make it happen. I back it up, Jeff. You couldn't even look me in the eye.

I remember hitting the last jump at Blue. It was AFTER the 1st set of jumps, AFTER the wall ride, AROUND the turn. If I'm wrong, then I'm remembering 2 years ago, or Nick is correct that I'm indeed on PCP. Sorry it offends some of you, but I prefer more space between jumps, and I'd prefer them properly ligned up on a straight run. BB and CB can figure it out. Why is it so hard for Blue? As far as comparing Blue to other mountains, I preferred BB and CB's jump lines over Blue. And, I'm not the only one. I wasn't trying to make any big claim. I hit 65's with people on this site every weekend last year. Never said I was great. I just like jumps. Mbike- I have a right to voice my opinion based on my experience. Anyone who rides jumps, and is honest, will tell you they want them on a straight run. This is such a stupid thing to argue about. When I'm setting up for a 65ft+ jump, I don't want to be thinking about turning. If that means I suck, so be it. I would like for Blue to step up. I put groups together every weekend and it would be a lot easier coordinating things because Blue has the perception of being much closer. If Blue had a jump line on par with BB in recent years or even CB last year, I have no problem bringing my group there often.

If that's true, I commend Blue for taking a step in the right direction and I truly hope they start to properly maintain the park this year. Now, build the park on a straight run and spread the features out and I might be on board this year.

I still think the jumps are too close together and the turn before the last jump was stupid. If they just built a good jump line on a straight trail this year with some space between them, and maintained the landings, I would do Blue this season. In answer to your questions: Yes, I ride Blue every year and have "seen" for myself. Yes, I prefer jumps to rails. But, I'm doing them more because my friends do. You know I was referring to a pro comp, the rock/wildlife comment was weak. Hmmm, same 2 negative votes on my last post in the thread. Give it up.

You ever scene a national park competition on a course that is as windy as Sidewinder ???? Nope. I noticed you didn't comment on the other part of my post. At least everyone can be honest with themselves that Blue does NOT maintain their parks. I would love to see Blue build the parks on a different trail and step up maintaining their parks. If so, I'd be open minded to buying a season pass at Blue.

Until Blue moves their parks to a STRAIGHT run and finally begins to MAINTAIN their features, Blue Sucks.

Although a little harsh, I gotta agree with Poop on this one. BB was the place to ride park in 07/08. Not so much in 08/09.
