thats a friday. how bout the 29?

right after i posted this topic i looked at the forecast was kinda thinking the same thing the high is in the 30s

anyone else wanna dress up as a n00b or gaper this weekend? i think i am. i wont if its below 30 during the day but other wise i prob. will.

yeah i got the spin down fine im fine with that part of it the only thing i couldnt do was stick the landing.

bears lips are fine. the only ones that i dont like right now are the ones in black bear but im still willing to ride them. they dont have to be perfect.

i think i suggested this earlier. if bear really doesnt want to reabuild it they could try and set the quarter pipe on like a mound of snow so that people wouldnt be coming directly down from the vert of the hill when they hit it it would be flat for a little.

i gt now it seems that i only do it on smaller jumps. i could get the spin down fine i just couldnt land it. i am way more comfortable spinning 3s on bigger jumps now than i was on smaller jumps. thanx everyone.

the blak bear set up seemed very snowboarder like. im willing to get used to the lips being like that. a little somthing different to change it up a little.

i saw a guy either taking pics or video.

also today some one knocked over the barrel bonk on cascade and it was laying in the middle of the trail so me and another kid moved it to the side. the jumps in black bear? i thought that the lips in black bear were extreamly steep. they were pretty poppy they were a different style that i need to get used to. everythime i hit the slight up box i was wayyy on my back foot or just went past that and ended up on my hip.

did you see black bear before they changed it? yeah that had sooooo much flow to it. the set up in black bear right now is the only thing this year that i could see you having to skip features to get speed for others.

all i ave to say about today is sick. the jumps in both cascade and tubing were PERFECT. never ever change them... ever.

thats mad beat. maybe ill watch some of the comp. tomorrow just to see how it turns out.

that set up will be the ultimate test of riders skills because there are not that many options so they will have to get creative.

so i can spin 3s on little jumps like 10-15 foot. but when ever i try and spin them on anything bigger i end up throwing them corked and then i land almost on my back. im throwing them the same way i do on the smaller jumps. i have gone for a corked 5 since i was told it was easier than a corked 3 and i got alot closer to that than i did with my 3s. so what im trying to ask is how can i not throw my spins corked on steeper lips and bigger jumps.

its not just you. I have gotten used to it. If i see a noob i simply wait and let them go first so they cant cut me off. also what time did the parks close for that comp. last year? does anyone think i will be able to get some runs in on black bear if i get there early?

oh well theres always next year.

i think what they are trying to say is don't make fun or mess with people because they don't have a cool board or skis or they just fell or suck at what ever they are doing. but i think it means if they are following the rest of the smartstyle rules.

ok thats alot better than both being closed... all the noobs will be forced to ride cascade. but alot of trafic will be taken out because there will be people competing.

yeah ruts really suck for skiers. either you have to approach the rail with a really narrow stance (which is really hard because it causes you stance to be narrow on the rail.) or the other option is to approach the rail with you legs super spread apart which isnt as bad as them being really close. but with this kind of snow they cant really do anything with ruts because the fix it and its rutted after 5 more boarders 50-50 it.
