they are capable of it they just dont have the snow i wouldnt say they gave up because if they did park crew wouldnt be fixing stuff when the snow is soft even tho it will just get rutted out again. i dont think they gave up they just dont have the snow.

today was pretty nice... GREAT in the morning then got more and more mashedpotatoe like as the day went on. i really liked how park crew put more of a lip on the up box at the end of the day. that was perfect i wish they would do that with the big staircase. all the lips were pretty nice all day. nothing was unridable.

that would actually be cool and maby gutar hero too... i have a feeling somone would ruin it tho.

more things to laugh at on the lifts!

YEAH! it would be so sick... someone said somthing about this last year... i have also been thinking about wearing like all gaper gear jeans, straight skis, goggles with no hat and a neon jacket and just killing the park... ppl. would be like what is that kid doing in the park then just throw a trick. it would be better if alot of ppl. did it tho. and im ALL for gaper day.

idk if the guy left in an ambulance but a guy ( i think was an instructer cuz he had the jacket) smashed his face on the step down box and was bleeding everywhere. ski patroll had to close it to clean the bloood up before anyone else rode it.

ill be there all day but wont be able to make it at night...

yeah smooth runs would be nice but once one person stops everyone after them stops too.

conditions were soft today and those grainy snow thingers but it was good. the lips were pretty good for the time i was there.

i dont like melting snow. they should be able to blow by tuesday or wednesday... oh how bad they need it. pretty sure im still going tomorrow.

they should put a feature or two along the half pipe they would be easily hikable. not sure if they would have enough room tho.

back to conditions... anyone up today? how was it? they still have snow? im probly heading up tomorrow.

yeah i only hit it when it had a bigger lip but when i was hitting it i had one of my friends tell me when i had a clear landing. i didnt even want to try it at first because if i came off it to skiers left then i would just land in a crowd of ppl.

but to cut down trafic from the quad they are getting they would need to cu more trails on the terrain park side... i dont think they own any of that. they should get rid or move tubing and cut trails along side of cascade.

where else would they put it tho that wouldnt interfear with the other features that are normally set up with the jump lines and such? and they probly needed a relitivly mellow sloped spot so they wouldnt have to move as much dirt around.

kinda sucks...

they got rid of the triple last year...... well they moved it so it doesnt count.... but yeah it is.

last year set up was better but bear needs snow and its still early in the season, altho it seems far into the season because they didnt have to close this year.... even tho black bear is an intermediate park i think thats really the only good placment for the big staircase.

same i remember riding that when i first started skiing. somtimes, well alot of times its faster if (your riding by yourself) to get to the top because the quad always stops..... hopfully when they put a quad in it doesnt make the trails too crowded. but they only use the double when it gets crowded so i think that if they got a quad it wouldnt be on all the time.

yeah they had that sign up for a couple days now... first they had it on the outside then moved it to the other side of the lift house thing idk if its tru or not tho because i think they would have somthing else about it not just a sign but idk.

conditions were nice today... snow was soft but very fun. bear is really in need of some blowing time. but over all all the lips and landings were good accept the landing on the flat down with the little bumps and i have given up on hitting the flat box and now i just always hit the bleacher because it is always in good shape.

yep sonditions were good again. not too crowded at all till' the end. for how soft the snow was the lips and landing stayed in surprisingly nice shape.

im heading up in a little probly will leave before 4 tho.

yep today was pretty nice conditions. the flatbox landing was weird and the jump too, they just had a bunch of loose snow after them.
