I think when they said new entrances they were talking about not having that stupid yellow banner thing that falls over all the time. this year they got that new blue one and it looks like it stays up better than the old one, probly because the wing cant catch it because it is mesh.

so do i. i was surprised when they switched them up, but they must have had a reason.

i just logged in to star a topic about the same thing weird. but anyway YES we want the mountain open till' 1 like in years past!!!

but most likely things wont be getting set up "urban style" in that park because it is a beginner and intermediate park. a down box would work but they already had that this year.

Yeah i think it does too but there isnt really anything that fits well there. Accept when they had a jump there but since they switched the ability levels of the parks that wont work.

yes the morning was wonderful the big starcase got wore down twords the end of the day but that is expected. all the lips were really good.

i like the new setup and i agree that the picnic table and 420 should have a better landing because once you do them a few times the landing gets real hard, but i dont think they are a waste of time.

yes tonight was the most fun i have had in a while it was so fun the snow was perfect and everything was mantained very well. the bleacher is soo fun!

If bear put it as a step-up box ski patrol would have so many kids in there with broken faces and such.

i didn't get to ride it yet but i like what im seeing from the webcams... the bleacher feature is looking cool.

i think they should go all out and change everything up! but i kinda do like the setup in the mid park now

I liked bears park last year. i agree some of the rails could be set up low but only like 1or 2 because once you learn the trick or whatever then they would get boring.

i think that was from all the snow that was blown today but i could be wrong.

the conditions were great today the rails are getting kinda burried but it didnt matter. the jump at the bottom was really hard to get speed for with the wind and slow snow but it was fun.

as said before the past week hasnt been the greatest and we all kno how AWESOME bears park can get when they work hard at it and there is alot of snow so we should just wait. and even if boulders park is better, which i dont think it is but, i have always had alot more fun at bear because it has a better atmosphere to it than boulder.

how are the step down and marble ledge not trickable? they are like the complete opposite of not trickable.

today woas pretty good but when i got there it was pouring down rain but i went out anyway and got completly soaked. it was a fun time tho the snow wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be with all the rain we got. there was one of those stream type things forming down the side of upper black bear and the lifts were coated in thick ice.

the snow was so slushy that i think if they fixed the landings it wouldnt even be worth their time because they would just get messed up so fast again and the ruts were so deep it would take awhile.
