the snowmakers are blowin so much snow and they were turning the output up as we were leaving it is insain

its kinda sick to think the biggest comp boulder had was bear and we are an hour south...

i hope it's set up like an urban dfd that would be so sick

that really sucks the lows tonight and tomorrow are 20 with humidity in the 50 n 60's so hopefuly the snowmaking team will be able take advantage of that and we will be out boarding/skiing by the end of the weekend thanks for they update mark

its a bonk and dfd and th 3 ft wide rail should be sooo sick

it looks like they are pushing snow around on paw prints that run right under the bunny hill

thats a really good question hmmmm??

Update: Unfortunately temperatures were not optimal for snowmaking on Thursday night and therefore our ski trails will not be open Saturday. Snowmaking will continue tonight, so check back for additional updates never mind

i don't know if this means anything but i was just on onthesnow.com and it has bear creek listed for an opening tomorrow

if they don't have the snow to open a chair on saturday maybe they will do a small little hike park with a few rails till they can build up the base and open a chair

does anyone know if bear was even able 2 turn on the guns last night

just got home from bear and they have alot of snow for just one night of blowing the one pile at the base area is 2 to 3 feet already

it was on last night and before they were blowing yesterday but today i cant get on it

they keep the rails out there over summer

yeah i agree bear doesn't need to have every single trail open this early if they would do the boulder approach they could just put like an extra 5 guns on the few runs they plan to open and then build up a base alot quicker and we would most likely see a chairlift opened by this weekend

3 nights of blowing bear can probly get down alot of snow... atleast i hope so hopefuly there will even be a lift at this rail jam i'm in an optimistic mood hahaha
