  1. There seemed to be alot of use of the Upper & Lower Moore's, and Turkey Trot trails, as well as the half pipe after it opened. On the other hand, Rhodo never seemed to have many people in it. I was there on most weekends during the season; just my observation. As far as being welcome to ski the terrain in the parks . . .only if you pay your $10 and get a park pass.
  2. Obviously, you do not get sarcasm. . . .
  3. Too bad you didn't catch the sweet sarcasm. . . . maybe next time. Times two . . . .
  4. Closed for lightning. For some - again for no reason. . . . splenda-sweet.
  5. There's always a reason. Just because it doesn't suit you . . . sweet.

    Stevenson Lift

CB web site (Daily Conditions Report) now showing the Stevenson lift open.
  7. Stop, you're killing us. You should be on TV, doing clubs, you are just too funny.
  8. You've been practicing your "technique" for a while now, haven't you. It is showing . . .
  9. I'm glad that give us a heads up. It wouldn't be much fun to torture your way through the storm to finally get there and have them close the mountain on you without any warning.
  10. That is some experience.

    Lights on?

CB's website has posted a video of the snowmaking that they started after midnight.
  12. Yes, this week or any other non-holiday week for that matter.
  13. It's a business. If it was worth it for them to run the quad during the week, they would do it.
  14. Sundays through Thursdays
  15. Amazing.
  16. New operating hours as well: Closing at 9 pm on Sundays through Thursdays; 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
  17. I always play it safe and wear one. You never know what may happen, as you discovered. The lap belt would have kept you in the seat, no?
  18. I read it that he covered a distance of 15-20 feet while in the air, not that he was 15-20 feet high in the air. He may have only been a few feet off the ground.
  19. The CB website showed them making snow yesterday on a bunch of trails. Guess you missed it. They are showing Laurel Glade is closed today for snowmaking as well. Thr Rocket is listed as "ungroomed" today so they had to have made snow on it.

    Still closed

I have heard that the webcam is run by a local TV station and that they remotely control the direction that it is pointed. The website says that they are open today with both hi-speeds quads operating.
  21. Posted on the CB website: "Current Conditions Report Date: 2-1-08 12:00pm Due to weather conditions, Camelback will be closing at 12:15pm today and will reopen Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 8am to 10pm. 100% open for the Weekend!"
  22. I was there on Sunday afternoon and evening. The snow conditions were pretty good in the afternoon, especially on the Asp and the bumps on Lower Cleo. Weather was especially good, sunny and comfortable temps. Conditions deteriorated as usual as the day went on but you could always find decent snow along the sides of the trails. Crowd was typical for a Sunday afternoon. CB made a lot of snow last week. There were some decent piles stockpiled at the top of Sullivan and on the way down to the Rocket.
  23. Park passes are free.
  24. From the CB website: "Due to weather conditions Camelback will close at 5pm today. Camelback will reopen for daily operation on Saturday at 8am."
  25. from December at Loon Mountain in NH http://www.wmur.com/news/14867291/detail.html
