We should get the Rocket by Sunday. 6+ different ways down from the top, including 2 blacks. How sweet would that be.
-
. . . and has nothing to do with the weather we have had this season. Once again, you demonstrate your inability to understand reality. Carry on. Enjoy BB.

Looks like a bunch of kids posting random thoughts that cross their minds as they wait for their buddies to answer their IMs, because that's what they do. It's just your speed.
-
I don't believe they have the luxury of being a little bit open as you suggest. Either they are all the way open or they are all the way closed. One of those kids gets hurt and CB has a lawsuit to contend with. That's the reality they deal with. What "employee parking" are you talking about? I have never seen any parking areas or spaces designated as "employee parking". It's first come-first serve. If you have to sleep in, you have to walk, or take the shuttle bus. Yeah, you taking the shuttle bus. Now that's something that I would pay to see.

Again, . . . try . . . to . . . answer . . . . the . . . . question. What does Okemo have to do with Camelback?
-
You get the attitude because you can't make a constructive suggestion once or twice; you have to say it over and over and over and over. . . . then you add on your pompous comments onto your sugestions over and over and over and over . . . . then when you have no answer to the question that was asked ("So what's your point? The question asked about Camelback this year verses last year."), you throw a jab at CB and/or anyone who doesn't agree with your CB-bashing. Yeah, I pay for my pass. Last time I checked they weren't giving them out for free.
-
So what's your point? The question asked about Camelback this year verses last year. Who cares about Okemo. Surely by now, even you have to realize that Camelback doesn't check with Okemo, Jackson Hole, Breckenridge, or Northstar before deciding what is best for them to do. Your reply is like saying, "You should have seen Mammouth last year in June. They were in better shape than Camelback and they closed." It is what it is. They run CB the way they do. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. Hey here's a thought, try being constructive for once. We finally get some snowmaking weather, something to be positive about, and all you can do is complain.
-
Last year, they were 100% open by Christmas week. This year, it's been a constant challenge to have minimal terrain available and/or to just be open. There's your answer.
-
NOT. Blue is closed. Have fun at Blue on Saturday. I'll be at Camelback.
-
Posted today on the CB message board. After considerable thought and discussion, Camelback has decided to discontinue the Ride Camelback Message Board for the foreseeable future. Many have shared their thoughts on skiing and riding and have made new friends as members of our message board community

25-30 and no. All but a week out West are at CB. I like the place. It has its faults, like everywhere else. I have a choice as does everyone. I choose to go there.
-
I hope so for your sake.

That's it Bobby, your true colors come through. Keep on choking on that silver spoon, pal.

Absolutely nothing wrong with your comments ski911. Good information. Please don't give Whineysteeze the satisfaction.
-
Thanks for the info skipatrol and DiMeThIcOnE. Whineysteeze will never be happy with Camelback no matter what they do. He apparently wasn't treated by CB like the snow-sports guru that he professes to be . . . so now he bashes them every chance he gets with his guesses on how a ski area should operate.

If the shoe fits . . .

I was up at CB last Saturday and walked up Rhodo to check it out. They did widen the trail. It is now double the width that it was last season.
-
Check out the webcam. The lights on the mountain are out. Time for you to celebrate. You finally got your wish . . . at least for tonight.
-
Not arguing semantics; just stating a fact that the snowmakers take alot of pride in their craft. Lighten up.
-
Don't tell them that they "blow snow". They will tell you that they "make snow".
-
The Hump when it is in good condition; otherwise it's Big Pocono/Dromadery on the west side and Cliffhanger on the east side.

Patagonia has really nice stuff that would probably appeal to the "older" skier.
