They have them at 5 total places now. Northstar at Tahoe was one of the first I believe.

Pretty awkward riding a round with a camera strapped to my head. I was always aware of it, and it was affecting my riding. Only ended up getting around a half hour of video before the batteries died. Video didn't turn out so great though. It was pointed down a little two much, and shaky. Made for some nauseous viewing. I'm going to hand it over to some video editing friends, and if they can make it any more tolerable I'll post it up.

Will be at JF tomorrow. Most likely arriving around 11am. I'll be testing out the helmet camera my gf got my for xmas. Wearing bright green pants/helmet cam. Names Bob, say hi you could be on PASR's funniest home videos. If the landings aren't too hard, I'll likely be lapping one park all day. If icy conditions, most likely be in a steady rotation of one/challenge/eastMt.

That's pretty much what I got going on right now. I like to pretend that maybe I'll hang them up and actually be able to see my floor.

Where do you store your boards? I currently have my bed on risers and just slide my boards under there. It's not a bad solution, but can still be a bit of a hassle. I was thinking about buying some wall mounts like this or maybe make something similar. Any body have any experience with anything similar, and possibly have some pictures of them in action? The whole under the bed situation was fine for one/two boards, but currently I have 5 to deal with so something has to happen.

I'm still seeing if any of my friends actually come up with some NYE plans. If that doesn't happen though, I was going to use JFBB as my backup.

I only went on one last year to stowe. There were four of us in a room, I knew everyone so sharing beds wasnt so much of an issue. The room was at the golden eagle, and others were at the commodores. Commodores was the nicer of the two, but I heard there were some incidents with some of the guests getting a little crazy. I was in the golden eagle, and while it was nothing special it was acceptable, we had no problems, and breakfast was fantastic. Although its tough to have a crappy breakfast in vt with all that tasty syrup around. In any case there was indeed a dinner buffet that was held at the commodores and they transported us there.

The bus trips are a little expensive, but I think the whole not having to drive thing is huge. Being able to sleep/drink/bullshit instead of drive is definitely worth something. Additionally with the banchi trips, you get two breakfasts, and a dinner. I think I crunched the numbers and it was coming out to be like $40 overpriced. However the recession could be a factor. The first banchi bus trip to okemo is supposed to be in a week or two, but it has pretty much been canceled because of lack of interest. Who knows how the rest of the season will play out. I was planning on hitting a couple of the trips though.

It seems I'll be in CO that week as well. A buddy got a slopeside condo at breck so I'll be rocking that for the week. FYI: Umphreys in Denver Sat night. Umphreys side project in Breck Sun. Check it out.

After hearing it talked about a few times that's pretty much were I thought it was. I've never ridden it though, or actually seen anyone ride it for that matter.

This has been covered many times before. You can easily shave that time down on the highway. In any case I don't think the drive time is a real factor, not to me anyways. And for the record, my buddy did the search from wherever he lives in malvern.

I think blue has done a good job of brainwashing people into thinking they are so much closer. This past weekend when I recommended JFBB to a friend, his immediate response was: thats like 2.5 hours away. I had him google both and JF ended only ended up being 7 minutes longer.

Where exactly is 'Elevator'? Is it off the skiers right of river shot? I've seen talk of that and another run thats not coming to mind and never really knew where they were.

I've gotten good results from REI. However, their turn around time is horrible and rates are high as well. I try to just get my work done at mike and matts when possible though.

Don't think I'll be getting up tomorrow, but sometime this weekend for sure.

Looks good. I should be getting my first day of frost in sometime this weekend, super stoked. I was at BB tonight. Surprisingly good night. Thought I would be in for an ice rink, but everything turned out to be sugary and easily manageable.

Now that's some dedication.
