Website looks a lot better now . No more retina searing graphics (thanks) . It seems a bit slow, but I'd trade speed for a better design. Seems to be WordPress based?

Wow. They have new type of passes: College, Family, and Weekday "day pass" (great if you don't have a day job.) ... They are also on twitter: Sno Mountain Twitter. (Six followers so far).

It seems to be back but all the content refers to 2008 events ... Maybe they had to restore from an old backup ... Things break ...

Go to Elk ... They are open this Saturday & Sunday (at least that is what their website says). BTW, anyone peek at Sno's webcam lately? I just saw a SnowCat pushing snow off the bunny hill down towards north face ... Odd.

Probably won't be any snow left by President's day ... They'll have to walk down the muddy hill for the torchlight parade. I despise this warm weather.

I'm sure this has been bitched about before, but do you think it would be possible to keep your website up to date? At least try to have the "Snow Conditions" page reflect what is actually going on while you are open ... How hard could it be?

No lights on Whistler please ... I like riding in the dark.

Not much open... Cannonball was open and one of the other NF trails (boomer?). They had some stuff set up for the park rats ... Some boxes and rails I think. Bunny hill and tubing was open as well. Snow was pretty decent ... Had a great time ... Definitely worth the 25 bucks.

I did ... North face does look pretty good from a distance (Was not able to hike down take and pix). The live video feed shows the snow guns are still blasting ... I'll ride whatever they have open on Wednesday (even if it's the damned bunny hill) ...

I usually check out the National Weather Service and AccuWeather. They seem to vary bit on their predictions , but both forecast daytime temps this week will be above freezing. That won't help Sno with their snowmaking ops ... There's too much brown on that mountain.

Weather is supposed to be warmer this week (40's) with some rain ... I'm hoping that the weather folks are wrong ...

Was roaming around the hill this afternoon ... Snow guns are running, but the have a lot of work to do. Opening day is supposed to be 06 December but some folks are saying that they might be open for the "turkey day" weekend.

Just got off the phone with someone at Sno ... I believe the person mentioned that they have a tenative opening date of 06 December (depends on weather of course).

The price list is out. Looks like a new pass category as well ... "The Night Pass" ...Looks interesting.

I wonder if "insidesno" has anything to add to this conversation?

I guess they wanted a nice big pipe for the Revolution Tour. Just curious, but what do you think should they have done with all that snow?

Can't use regular skis on pavement. I think the person interested in these things wants to do some summer training, or perhaps just help ease the withdrawal pains brought on by the end of the season (I understand completely).

If you get those things, you're going to need serious protective gear (Pads, lots of pads) ... Hitting the pavement at any speed sucks. Sometimes it can be like hitting a cheese grater.
