I'd never burn a vacation day for Blue unless it's a rider of the storm day....I hit it and quit it this AM. Got 6-7 really solid runs. The first one down Dreamweaver was a treat. Me, JohnnyLaw and GSS had 2nd, 3rd and 4th tracks down it. Fucking titty sparkles everywhere. Slightly wind buffed which helped it support some weight...didn't feel bottom on Dreamweaver. Good choice GSS...must suck watching me slay variable conditions and you're about a 1/2 mile behind.

Not good. I grew up watching MS dominate in F1...hoping he pulls through.

I'm pretty adamant about lowering the bar. I always give people a heads up and make sure no one is leaning forward to avoid the helmet bang. Blue's lifts do have an autobar which frequently lowers very early.

I was up for 1.5 hours tonight....just cruised on Paradise and Lazy. I'd agree, one or two slick-ish spots at the bottom of Lazy and Paradise, but otherwise, perfect. No winds, pretty fast grippy soft snow. JADIP.

Boots are good...I have some physical limitations so boots are never going to be perfect, but they're 100000x better than the old boots.

It was good quick trip. I've been pretty busy closing up end of year projects. Yes, my shoulder hurts from my fall last Wednesday night with TP4 and JohnnyLaw. It'll probably require surgery in 2014 at some point with a 5-6 month total recovery time (aka, back to golf)...my MRI next week will tell that for sure. But, in the mean time, Doc said ski all I want and live the dream. So I've been pretty bummed about the thought of not being able to play golf for 6 months. Going to force myself to get out tonight and ski to cheer up. Heavenly was crowded and Kirkwood is rocky as fuck. As soon as I can tune my skis again, my edges need some work

I'm planning on skiing Thursday evening...Saturday....and assuming weather is OK, Sunday.
