Aspen pass....good to hear! As for my plans...up in the air? Definitely Aspen, but perhaps substituting Telluride for Jackson. Friends of ours have a house at the base of Mountain Village that is ski in/ski out and have offered it up. Tempting with all the new terrain they've added. I need to renew my Aspen classic pass soon...my last year as a "student". Nothing better than waking up to this view (and 22" of snow)...

I'm pretty set equipment wise. Might use these boots another year...don't have a lot of motivation to break in another pair this year. Picking up new outwear (jacket/pants). Both are 3 years old, and while still in perfect condition, have served me well. Time for some new colors.

I too enjoy waxing my skis. Nothing like some loud music and a few beers in the workshop. I'm into the pleasure/pain thing...I wear sandals while waxing my skis

I need to crunch the numbers taking my Aspen classic pass into account. Might be worth it for event the two free days at Aspen and not buying a ticket at JH thru JHCR.

heh...sucks, but the likelihood of someone picking that backup and restarting work seems slim to none in the near future.

horrible season? 80" in 8 days in Jackson and awesome spring skiing while getting a tan in Aspen. And...in PA, you take the good with the bad. Not great conditions but absolutely no crowds this year. I'd say it was an average season for PA.

You have Gen 4 which has front and rear open diffs. By dragging the brake on the spinning wheel, it acts like an LSD, but just isn't the same. Harder and harder to find an AWD system with limited slip diffs. I know Audi offers an optional rear LSD on the S4. Subaru might as well?

Pretty sure your car is "1 wheel per axle" AWD Also known as an open differential.

When a RWD BMW can make it through 12" of snow, I don't consider that "deep". 20+" is a formidable opponent for most vehicles.
