  1. View from Oly bowl of maroon and pyramid peak.
  2. Aren't mbike and snobunski there now?
  3. Fun day at Highlands. We skied some stuff both of us never have before. Again...our own private mountain. Skied pretty much until close and followed it up with Aspen Brewing Co IPA and a spicy chicken and bacon pizza from Highlands Pizza. JADIP.
  4. I thought you were doing a late season Utah trip? LOL
  5. Just minor traces of the red dust. Pretty white overall. The last few days have been some pretty good spring skiing.
  6. We decided to check out Buttermilk today. Glad we did. We had a great time on super smooth corn. Spring skiing at its best...and our own private mountain. Views from the top are awesome.
  7. Two pics for today...one from the top of Ajax looking at Highlands, and the second is for NSJay...pesto chicken wrap from the big wrap with his favorite gear shop in the background. Conditions today were awesome spring corn. So smooth, fast, and grippy.
  8. We actually didn't take High Alpine at all yesterday. 2 or 3 person wait for the poma so why not? Ajax today.
  9. Heading up to the top of Snowmass.
  10. It was around 5700 from the top of the pass to the valley floor. Hard to find in the rockies.
  11. I'm headed to Aspen on Tuesday
  12. Get a clue...Rockies don't have shit on the alps in terms of prominence. Rockies look like hills in comparison,
  13. there were no shortage of bikes...that was taken near the top of the Fluela plass on the eastern side heading down into Bormio, Italy (home to a yearly FIS ski race). It starts in Davos, Italy (another ski down). I mostly wanted to drive it because it was featured on Top Gear's "greatest roads in Europe". They/we did Lichtenstein -> Davos -> Bormio -> Bolzano via the Fluela and Stelvio. On our way into Italy from Switerzland at the bottom of the Fluela, we were waiting for the Munt La Schera tunnel traffic light to turn green, and a few bikes pulled up next to me in the queuing lanes, and I heard English with a lot of "eh"s. Sure enough, they were from Canada, had rented bikes and were hitting all the great passes. When we popped out of the tunnel (the bikes insisted I go first through this almost scary very narrow one lane tunnel)...we popped out along Lake Livigno which had an awesome half tunnel/road along the reservoir where the highlight of my trip occurred...about 15 Ferraris and Lambo's came ripping through the mostly enclosed roadway screaming at full throttle. It was deafening and awesome. You can see the tunnel snaking along the lake:
  14. been wearing shorts and flip flops to work every day this week.
  15. No reason to hate...Doug's not coming.
  16. opposed to....a coupe? E90 LCI's are the best looking E9x's, IMO. I've never thought non-M E92's looked good. They look too stretched out. I also love the convenience of having back doors.
  17. Time to get the stoke levels up....Aspen on Tuesday!
  18. I think even 1er's do it too.
  19. they auto fold when i take the key out of the ignition.

  24. heh...shadows is just a jealous hater...European Delivery was awesome. Maybe I should put the rear plate back on?
