  1. There was a pic in the morning call I believe, and the dump truck was lying on its side. Pretty sucky situation.
  2. 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile east of the most eastern point of Paradise.
  3. Or....more people will keep coming back because of the amenities and make everything more crowded . I think Blue is truly nearing it's capacity in terms of being able to 'fit' people on the mountain. Time for some new trails Barb
  4. Exactly. Sure, they may have needed it, and unfortunately, day trippers care more about the carpet then they do available terrain, or grooming, etc. They spend more time in the lodge, anyway.
  5. What have they done to the bottom lodge?
  6. I didn't see any official pics, but I happened to see these on Michael Maniscalco's facebook...holy shit...no wonder passes are $630+
  7. Some new stoke I found...
  8. It's going to be a judgement call this year about opening weekend in the east. I'm not doing that fckin stairway to heaven again at Kmart. Mount Snow had the best opening terrain when it beat Kmart a few years ago, but Kmart wasn't bad when it was t-b. It was insane last year.
  9. Temperatures are definitely dropping. If only this rain would hold off for a few months...we'd have 400" of snow by now.
  10. didn't even have the windows down on the way to work today...just moonroof...feels nice
  11. sure...why not.
  12. He struggles with standing at high altitude.
  13. You're not wrong. I do spend a lot of money on ski trips. Then again, I make plenty of money to do so, all the while, saving plenty so one day, I will be able to be a CO resident. I'd rather work hard now, and retire in 30 years, and ski the rest of my life. There is no one way to live life...so stop trying to convince me that I'm doing it wrong. To each his own.
  14. Everyone has their preferences. Sure, I would love to live in the Roaring Fork valley, but until I can afford to, I'll continue to live on the east coast. I'm not interested in sacrificing my "dream" just for short term gratification.
  15. If I can schedule flights properly, I should be able to squeeze 18 days in, maybe more, we'll see. Going to be another good winter, for sure. Off to the Alps in just over 3 weeks though...no skiing
  16. Good catch. That was supposed to be 193cm.
  17. Sure, it'll cover 200% more area, but it'll also consume 200% more fuel to power the PTO's required to drive the additional tillers.
  18. 195cm Volkl Shiro's....waiting until they're available to order them though
  19. Jordan...I'm well aware...but I've never been a late season skier. Once it's warm enough to play golf...I start golfing. I love to ski and I love to golf...I can't wait to ski when it's golf season, and I can't wait to golf when it's ski season.
  20. heh...sad, but true. I'd get more days out west next year if I continue at my current employer.
  21. wow Jordan...you're getting it done this spring. Keep it goin man.
