We're in a holding pattern up here...we have snow in every direction, but not here. A few more minutes it'll be dumping. I got all the slushy/icy grap removed from the sidewalks/driveway to make for easier snow removal tomorrow

It was sleeting for about 3 minutes...now its dumping hard.

Big gap in the storm...don't waste your time with an afternoon session at Blue. We might not even get a night session in. The next storm is so far away. Tomorrow AM could be legit.

seems like it's going to be best to wait until later in the evening...dinner time maybe?

Roads are *terrible* right now, and that's coming from me. I drove my mom's X3 to wawa this morning, and the ABS was kicking on with the slightest brake application. It has brand new all seasons, I figured the a/s tires were to blame. Got in my car w/ knobby snows...same thing. We need some snow on top of this compacted snow layer to get some traction.

I've never made it to the Lake Tahoe area, but there is something special about standing at the top of the mountain looking out onto the lake from every picture I've seen. Such a beautiful area, and definitely an area high on my list to visit. How long is your drive from the bay area?

too much speed is a good thing Tip that ski on edge and mow down that transition gate and fly to the finish. On my first run (which didn't get timed), I was carrying lots of speed, got in the back seat for a split second, and skied really wide through two gates. The second run, I felt it coming on again and yelled at myself to "get forward you fcking idiot". Get pissed and step it up!

Results from tonight are in...Team PASR had a great night. JohnnyStyle showed up, which helped boost the team. And Glenn had an unusually fast run? I think it was a bad time considering I was the next person down, and my time didn't register. Thankfully I got a rerun, as the first run I fucked up. The rerun I skied really well. I really put the hammer down on my 2nd run of the night, and ended up finishing 3rd overall. Team PASR was also the 3rd fastest team of the night!

Why don't you just add some base layers? I don't change my outer layers when it gets cold, I just layer up more. I'm very comfortable and warm. You should try it sometime

That's cause you're in the back seat Depending on when this storm ends, I may be at JF on Thursday morning to actually be able to enjoy post storm skiing in PA, as Blue will be brutally groomed.
