  1. Every picture ever taken at Snowmass shows how empty the place is. I swore at times JS and I were the only one in the hanging valley.
  2. When JS and I skied that there were only 3 other tracks on it I want to go back!
  3. Bob is lame. Come to Blue on Sunday.
  4. From yesterday: Wednesday: If only Chris Davenport was a faster skier then JohnnyStyle... the cirque at snowmass...our best turns were in here..
  5. sure as hell going to be enough snow after next week...a storm at the end of next week would be great
  6. Mostly brutally groomed...I left around 9:30am, and I already heard scraping.
  7. Good bump...one of the best days I've ever skied in PA...glad it was a PASR day...can't wait for this year
  8. I hate lot attendants. I play chicken with them. I always win.
  9. We did some epic bushwacking last year...wow...im surprised we made it out with our skis on
  10. I agree...Killington for opening day is one thing, but I can be skiing in SLC, or even CO before I've even arrived at Stowe. I'd also rather ski 15 days out west then 30 days in VT. To each his own.
  11. Well, last year the mogul comp was on Challenge, and consisted of just the headwall. Chris/Flyin Johnny will do a legit job setting up the course, so no worries there. I doubt I'll still be at Blue when it starts, but there will be some great bump skiers there, for sure. http://www.skibluemt.com/SkiBlue/SiteAssets/files/main/MogulChallenge.pdf
  12. I had a tree stump rip a my right ski off and sent me flying at JH this year. Ripping down Grand Woods, and saw a nice line under a low tree...and sure enough, there used to be another tree right next to it. Thank god nothing was in front of me. Scared me a bit.
  13. Just goto Blue
  14. wow bob....you were freakin slow! 45 seconds on each run
  15. We did not...you're the team captain.
  16. The results from tonight. Team PASR is in 5th overall. I managed to be the 4th fastest overall guy tonight. The rest of Team PASR put up some good numbers. A shame JStyle had car troubles...we may have been able to put up a fight for 4th
  17. I feel I'm going to have some issues tomorrow AM on my drive. Hopefully they dump enough salt on the roads that it's not an issue
  18. I thought I sent it to mrs snowbunski last night...I will PM it to ya.
  19. The real races start tonight We've also added another member to the team...GAHSkier George
  20. You didn't vote Looks like we'll have a good turnout...
  21. Blue is definitely more special then Aspen...if you're not going to post a skiing TR, how about a dinner TR?
  22. quad VIP line is the way to go. you do know if you can't catch us, you could just wait (like I did for JLaw).
  23. I don't think I'm going to have any issues flying...hopefully
  24. The VIP line at the quad had 1 or 2 people max all morning. JohnnyLaw and I were LOL'ing at the people who spent $50+ for tickets and get 2 runs/hour...while they stare us down because we wait in line for 15 seconds, and then we're on the lift.
  25. My alarm went off at 6:30am, and at 6:31am I got a text from GSS saying he barely got any sleep and was going back to bed. Pussy. I pulled into Blue around 7:30am, and the cars were already piling in then. Unlike yesterday, we weren't allowed on the snow before 8am, but by about 10 of, people were getting restless and started putting their skis on despite the "Mountain Hosts" telling them not to. George and I were the only PASR's for first chair, which was also filled with a bunch of patrollers who GAHskier knew. Our first run was down Razors Edge which was perfect. The snow was a bit stiffer this morning compared to yesterday, but JADIP. Our second run was down Nightmare/Dreamweaver, which the best it has been all year. I took the most aggressive line I could hitting the apex on every sharp turn. I later saw Terry who witnessed the run from the lift and said he said I was fckin hauling. Switchback was next, which was also great. Nice and smooth. No cookies. By then GAH split up with me to hang with the bumpers. I chatted with Chris for a few minutes at the top. I had saw JohnnyLaw flying down Challenge, so I waited for him at the bottom and finished up my morning with him. The lines were getting INSANE. The 6pack line was almost back to the snow, as was the quad, but even at 10:30am, there was not 1 person in the quad VIP line. It was awesome. We did a run or two on Challenge, and even that at 10am was great. Razors opened up around 10:15am, and it was probably the best it had been all year. The headwall was perfectly smooth to make huge super-g turns down, and then really put the hammer down in the middle section. I was pushing the mantra's as hard as I could..just awesome. We did that twice, and then peaced out a little after 10:30am. Great morning...Jeff was happy.
