meh...too many people have brunches and stuff. Xmas eve morning isn't a real big ski day..too much going on in people's lives.

8:30 as well for me tomorrow.

In preparation for our trip to JH, I skied with my friends Tom, Nic, and Oscar this morning. We got there right at opening and sampled a bit of everything. Challenge was probably the ROTD with smooth grippy (albeit, a bit firm) snow. You could really dig it in and trust it. Main Street bumps continue to be hard/icy, but awesome rhythm at the bottom. Nightmare to Dreamweaver wasn't too bad, either. The Nightmare headwall was surprisingly cookie free only having just opened, Dreamweaver had some chunks though. We did a run through sleep hallow and I managed to find a rock or two that came in contact with my edges, but nothing that a file won't fix. We met up with JohnnyStyle around 9:30ish or so, and he skied with us. Late in the morning we finally saw MBike and MrsSnowbunski, so JStyle waited up for them to make some turns with the Mbike family. A lift line was starting to form when we left around 11am, and they weren't doing any VIP enforcement, unfortunately. If the winds die down for tomorrow, should be a nice morning to ski!

That's one of the complaints I have about the iPhone video...the pictures can be taken in a nice wide angle, but the camera is no where near as wide.

Accuweather is probably the most inaccurate when it comes to snowfall. They're just a hype machine.

My AM might overlap your AM for once...

Any predictions on the amount of moisture in this system? Few inches of snow?

I've always enjoyed skiing Bromley. I managed to ski bromley on a blue bird pow day before heading back to PA (quick morning session). Nothing like the sun in your face...don't get that too much in the east

This is the one time where purchasing some stuff from shops comes in handy. Buy a pair of bindings once in a while or rack up a bill with other stuff. I came in to Nestor's with skis, bindings, and boots that were all not purchased there. No fitting fee, and I got the "I bought all this stuff here" price on the mount, because I bought footbeds, a ski bag, and 2 other pairs to have the bindings adjusted for the new boots. I got out of there about the cheapest I could.

I'm pretty sure the big air bag deflates on impact...?

I agree...bumps on challenge are TIGHT. The main street bumps are great right now, IMO. A little scratchy, sure, but the rhythm is perfect on the lower section.

I was checking out the weather this morning and saw something brewing this weekend. Keep us updated and make sure the Moe-tel is on standby for an immediate departure!
