For skiing...avoid Buttermilk. But the x-games are held at buttermilk at the end of January, so I dont know how much park stuff they have open a week before. Do Snowmass on a pow day, Ajax the day after, and hike Highlands on a clear day. Snowmass is the largest of the 4 and is my favorite.

You need to get your shit together. Because you know once ski season starts you're not going to want to take the time to get boots, etc. Do it now.

but that's an hour that he could be spending in his apartment smoking pot and going to bars and wasting money. That'd be time much better spent.

Between determining what size boot you should be in, trying on different boots, and then getting the footbeds adjusted right/aligned...you should spend at least an hour there.

I'll mostly be on 2 pairs this season... 184cm Volkl Mantra's with PX15's 190cm Volkl Gotama's with PX14 Racings Throw in my new Lanage RS130's...should be a perfect quiver.

Just got the boots fitted, the Mantra's mounted, and the PE's and Got's adjusted. Oh, and I got a volkl double ski bag that'll fit both my 190cm and 184cm Volkls. That concludes the last of my expenses before ski season begins!

I LOL at Blue's prices...Ajax/Highlands/Snowmass/Buttermilk pass for a student...$800. Blue Mountain Season pass for a student....$472. Hardly seems worth it.
