  2. Johnny...is that Waston's divide road at the bottom of the picture?
  3. 22 minutes until departure! Expect live updates from the road...
  4. I used my Moravian college ID (took a summer class there), which doesn't have an expiration date
  5. I am sitting here in my office trying to get some work done that was really supposed to be done Friday, but someone was in Aspen GSS arrives in a little over an hour It was a pretty spectacular day. The sun was so intense, the crisp 60 degree air with the intense sun made it a perfect day for short sleeves. I walked from the airport to Buttermilk on that sidewalk on the southbound side of 82 just enjoying the views. Oh, and the same guy that helped me at Highlands last year with my situation helped me yesterday. He even remembered me
  6. Sooo...I was in Aspen yesterday. I really do love that place. Left a cold and rainy Philadelphia early in the AM, and arrived a few hours later in a sunny Aspen, 60 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. A quick walk over to Buttermilk from the airport, I snagged the awesome deal on a Classic pass. Took the bus into town, walked around, FaceTime'd with NSJay, had lunch outside, and did some shopping. Like Johnny said, Aspen is so peaceful at this time of year. I really could live there. Part of the fun of going to Aspen is flying into the Aspen airport...On the take off video, when we turn onto the runway, you can really see how high the mountains rise in all directions making the landing a fun one. A very firm landing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flM7gGqU3l0 Take off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHW4MN20wgA I managed to snap this awesome picture on climb out...featuring the airport, all four mountains, and the very corner of JStyle's place.
  7. What's xnick doing?
  8. Sitting in the Denver airport...too freaking warm here. Can't wait to get to VT tomorrow. I'm already packed and the skis are tuned. Bring it on!
  9. Why don't we all meet at the same time next week, for stoke ? Followed by an AT hike?
  10. It was the cleaning lady....
  11. 1hr 20min? They must be too big.
  12. wow nice!!!
  13. UPS says my boots were "left with a woman". Can't wait to try them on when I get home tomorrow night.
  14. I haven't bought my pass yet. I plan on doing it when I return from Vermont. Jay, buy a pass. Johnny, goto Aspen.
  15. Well that's not true. But I was referring to the time when a NYSP blew by me while another was running radar on the side of the road. He got a late reading on the cop and thought it was me. Pulled me over for 82....I LOL'd in his face.
  16. They don't know how to size pictures... http://www.skibluemt.com/SkiBlue/SiteAssets/images/main/bluetrailmap2010final.jpg
  17. Maybe I'll take them to Aspen with me...more stoke. Should I bring you back an apple crisp from Little Annie's?
  18. Munich, for the rest of the world
  19. There is no time for relaxing on the hill. It's straight skiing from open till whenever we leave. Beers before a 5 hour drive home...not a good idea. We generally stop at this sandwhich place on the access road where we change, and then roll out.
  20. Someone I know on FaceBook said that "Ice T is Obviously in the Nazo for the colonial charm!!!!"
  21. I'll bring it along...just incase
  22. VT Troopers running KA (or maybe low powered K)...hard to detect from around corners, but man, the V1 lights up full alert realllll quick when they come up over a hill. Not too much advanced warning in VT even with a detector. NYSP run KA too.
  23. mine arrive tomorrow. I won't get to see them until late Thursday though
  24. I've done Stratton base area to my house in just a hair under 5 hours with 2 fuel stops, 1 traffic stop, and 1 piss stop with the cruise set at 75. So if you limit your stops, Kmart isn't a problem sub 5.
  25. It's about 5 hours for us.
