  2. Make sure nobody jumps off any U-Hauls Gotta check yourself before you wreck yourself...
  3. There is nothing to swear by. You shouldn't buy boots that are 100% comfortable in the shop.
  4. That's why I did what I did...buy a backup pair just in case, and then see if Nestor's can come through. These boots are in serious demand
  5. Agreed. He's just bitter that he'll only get to ski 3 places this year
  6. I snagged the last pair of RS130's in 27.5 from Backcountry.com as a backup plan. But looks like Nestors came through sourcing the boots for me, so I'll return the ones on order to Backcountry once the Nestors boots come in
  7. Looks like our prediction of Nov 6/7 will come true...I'll be there the 7th
  8. Shady Showdahs is too core to ski PA. He only wants to shred the gnar with the TGR Maggot's and the Nick Malozzi's of the world.

  13. looks like nightmare at blue mounatin. my goal? 20 days out west.
  14. Except orange/yellow are much safer to ski under. Lights in the 4300k range are too close to the color of snow, that's why real "fog" lights are yellow. You'll get much better contrast with yellow/orangeish lights.
  15. Uhh...yea. The Hobacks are tiring. With the conditions we had last year, the Hobacks took a good 30-45 minutes. I've done them when the conditions were much nicer, and it still is a workout.
  16. LOL, I too did the entire vert at KMart...It was painful.
  17. Top of the Poma at Snomwass to the buttom of Powderhorn at Snowmass....4270ish...hmm
  18. Snowmass advertises more vert then JH.
  19. I don't believe there is such thing as "assumption of risk" in PA when it comes to this. My dad explained it to me once before, but I forget. But, you're a lawyer, maybe you could explain it better? EDIT: I had it wrong...there is ONLY assumption of risk for skiing in PA, I don't believe anything else.
  20. You can't sign away your ability to sue.
  21. LOL, so wait...you were getting all bent out of shape about late openings, but you're not going for opening weekend?
  22. Just realized I've skied 5 of the top 12 on that list
