I had dinner with Suzann Pettersen (5th ranked womens golfer in the world, $$$) and her family and they were asking me where they should ski in the US. I asked the same question "Why not ski the Alps?". Well besides the fact that it's a big thing for someone from Europe to ski in the US, as it is with someone from the US skiing in Europe, but they said they prefer the people and terrain in the US. I sent them to Jackson Hole

Snowmass was definitely my favorite. I had a ton of fun at Ajax as well, but as JS said, might ski small for a boarder. I actually thought it skied pretty big (if you know where you're going). I think if I get back out to the roaring fork valley, I'd like to check out Highlands some more, as I only hiked the bowl, and skied a groomer or three.

Aspen sucks! Why would anyone go there?! It doesn't even make the Top 10 in anything!

Well, I'm not going to lie...the liner is thin and is very cold. Combine that with poor circulation causes me to use boot headers whenever its under 40 degrees. If you're willing to sacrifice a lot of comfort for performance, then I'd get them. If you like more comfort with similar performance, check out last years Banshee's or the RX130 this year.

I have the 130 w/ the 98mm last. I love the boots, but my feet aren't a huge fan (mostly because I have poor circulation). The performance rocks and in a race boot, that's all that really matters. But, I would never ever buy boots without trying them on.

I usually shoot clays at State Game Lands #209...north on Route 100 off of 78.
