Decided to change it up today, and ski after work, as I had a lot going on today. Skied for about 90 minutes...enjoyed some sunny groomers and some double diamond extreme terrain. Like @GrilledSteezeSandwich said, I love the sun, and I was enjoying myself today.

Trash is out! I haven't had a ton of time to explore yet. Friday will be a longer ski day for me I think, so I'll start exploring more. I've just been enjoying the soft-ish off trail snow, and same fast groomers.

Silverton. I skied amazing stuff there...so jaded now 😂

Daily update .... more lunch time skiing. Pretty gray/flat light today, so it was 3 and done for me today. Was nice to get out, make a few turns, and enjoy the fresh air. Rumor is that @mute1080 is going to get his butt to the butte.

Skied for a few hours this morning at Crested Butte. Got in line around 8:45am, and was surprised when they started loading around 8:50am. I was at the top for after my second lift ride by 9:15am 😁 Goal today was to just cruise around, get the lay of the land, and get familiar with navigation. Rode most of the lifts seeing where the good terrain and good groomers are. Few observations: 1) I think I'll do my daily hour-ish of skiing at noon to get full light on the mountain. My dark lens let me a little blind at some spots first thing 😎 2) The views are spectacular 3) There are some serious cheese grater rocks out there 😳

Hike to. I made a few pow turns this AM before setting off for Montrose airport with @NMSKI. Was about 4” at the elevation I made it to. Some nasty weather enroute, but made it in 1h 45m. I was planning on running in Montrose but the weather was such shit. Weather looked better in CB so figured I’d run there. As soon as I left Montrose enroute to CB, the weather really improved. Sunny skies prevailed for most of the drive. Now at @Barb’s place in CB for the next few weeks.

What a great start to the Road Trip. It’s been a fun week with @skiincy @Barb @Johnny Law @NMSKI so far. My first Tride day was a perfect blue bird day. The boys first day at Telluride was an unexpected 10” diamond dust powder day. Silverton was fucking boner doner tits mcgee. @NMSKI said he even saw titty sparkles. I plan on skiing a few pow runs tomorrow AM before heading to the airport with @NMSKI, going for a run in Montrose, and then heading to @Barb’s place in Crested Butte. I’ll be there for the next 3+ weeks. I’m hoping to see @mute1080 at some point. My buddy Tom is also flying out for a few days. After that, Aspen most likely. And to finish this off, it wasn’t perfect powder skiing at Silverton. On the lower part of the heli drop, a tree ripped my pole right out of my hand. I wasn’t pleased.

Sorry @GrilledSteezeSandwich ... yesterday was anti-climatic compared to the day prior. We shall see what today brings. Last day for the boys!

They're amazing. Best reports ever. However, I do sense a small bit of FOMO while @toast21602 skis the power line, and while we're out skiing Colorado. You'll get your turn ... just relax. As for action shots yesterday ... surely you can understand that there was only one person on a slope at a time. No opportunity for anyone to stop to get shots of anyone else skiing by.

Not as many woo hoos in this video, but lots of excitement, swearing, and a few gems 😁 Enjoy. The second half of the one run where I’m not skiing as much pow as you think I should is because our guide asked us to figure 8 his line to help correct some bad lines from a previous group. I also fucked up recording the 3rd run.
