  1. comeon....we need a shift!
  2. mehh...looks like 22 is right on the line of 3-6" and 6-12"
  3. I live in Bethlehem and plan on leaving at 6:30 to ensure a 7:30am arrival.
  4. My only concern is that there is a PA Cup race at Blue on Friday and Saturday. I'm hoping they cancel it, and then it'll be empty until everyone shovels the driveway. I'm expecting some nice untracked empty runs while the snow is still falling.
  5. Blue is going to get more then CB...maybe you should come to Blue!
  6. I want more!
  7. oh...progressive...didn't even see that
  8. new map...6-12" looks like it moved a bit north all you philly people wanting first tracks in dick deep snow should consider getting a hotel room for the night in the LV...accuweather says its going to be paralyzing amounts of snow in the philly area. although weather.com says something slightly different, and weather.com is usually more accurate
  9. new snow forecast map...looks as if the 6-12" line moved up....supposed to be "paralyzing snow" for philly area
  10. ya...but it's only because it's good for stoke.
  11. It was johnnystyle...and his tires are directional, aka, the treads are designed best rotating in a certain direction. most tires are asymmetrical, aka, it doesn't matter which way they spin. I was checking out his tires, and pointed out all four were backwards...and that he only drive to aspen and back with them on opposite sides oh, and i love driving in the snow...its challenging, but rewarding...especially when you pull into the blue lot and every other car is four wheel drive
  12. If I were you..I'd be out the door at 5:15. My drive is all on two lane roads...you have 476 that will hopefully allow for faster driving. That should put you in the Blue Mountain paring lot at 7:30, which is needed on a pow day to get first chair. its gunna be dick deep! And good idea to do the tires before this weekend
  13. FYI...there is a PennDOT plow facility/stockpile at the base of the mountain, thus, the closer you get to Blue, the better the roads get as the plows return back for more salt. The roads are always fine around blue. I'm hoping for nasty road conditions to keep people from coming.
  14. If we have serious accumulation, I'll probably leave my house around 6:30am...it's never taken me more then 50 minutes to do the 19 mile drive.
  15. Where are you located?
  16. stoke! have fun in JH, AH.
  17. i was saying it sarcastically ashy...sucks to be back in PA, but make the best of it. For us mere mortals, skiing at Blue is just another day in paradise.
  18. Have you ever skied in PA? Since when do noobs care about the degree of difficulty . If anything, if they made everything green, people would be less likely to want to do the "steep" stuff just to say they did a black.
  19. i love you too!
  20. R2's situtation is different, but yours is not. I've never used a locker. Whether I'm at Blue, CB, JFBB, Mount Snow, or Killington, I boot up at the car.
  21. wow ashy...you're livin the dream!
  22. Blue did something similar this year....the trail that connects the bottom of Lazy to Falls/Challenge and Lower sidewinder is now "crossover" and is rated a black, I believe. Biggest crock of shit ever.
  23. looks like a good time...saw your wife at blue and wondered where you were. This explains it
  24. I charge a little bit more then that...it's pretty time consuming.
