  1. Regardless of free airfare, I would've driven. Good luck man...keep us updated.
  2. At least someone did
  3. Camelback blows
  4. Rolled into the lot around 2:52pm and the bottom lot was filled, as in almost every spot was taken. Somehow, there happened to be a spot between Rodney and NazerethSkier Jay, who had just pulled in a few seconds before me. We booted up, and hit the snow. Rodney told us the quad VIP line was empty, so we stuck to the quad pretty much the whole day. We skied a little bit of everything, and everything was a sheet of ice, with the exception of the top of main street. Rodney did say, however, the area between Razors and Challenge was nice soft snow, and in fact, it was. So we popped on and off of the trail enjoying the best "snow" on the mountain. Lazy Mile was the worst, and Paradise and Nightmare/Dreamweaver were a close second. Toast met up with us after a few runs. We did a few more runs down Challenge, a run of Paradise, another run on challenge and then headed out. I was there for about 2 hours. Jay was in front of me on the way out, and as we were on our way back down the mountain on the Lehigh Valley side, we got stopped before the hairpin turn. The traffic light was backed up all the way up the mountain. It took me about 15 minutes to get through the stop light by the BMDI. Once we got through it Jay and I motored along quite nicely. Anyway, any way you slice it or dice it, JADIP. Oh yea, there had to be at least 10,000 people there today. Both quad and 6 pack lines were almost off of the snow.
  5. Had to be 10,000 people there.
  6. It's less then 30 minutes, but definitely stay in town. You either ride a bus to the mountain in the morning, or take a bus to the bars or to eat at night. The busses get you to the mountain in plenty of time in the morning before the lifts open.
  7. how are you still in school? I knew I was going to graduate before you
  8. I'll be there Jaybird. From Blue's FB Page: Should be some decent conditions.
  9. Except one of these clowns here that works at Nestors tells me the Lange liners are legit
  10. Where is the dude? Last I saw him he was slowly becoming a hippy after 3 years in VT.
  11. I have to Hotronics M4's. Been using them for over a year and couldn't ski in my Langes without them. Never leave home without them
  12. Jay if it's dumping in JH, are you going to ski?
  13. Windy as hell today.
  14. I'm well aware...even with the coils cranked up in the winter, its still an issue. bump for stoke
  15. Nestors.
  16. you're a pussy.
  17. Not according to Dennis Bamford.
  18. Nice, Timeless! Living the dream...now it's time to get a few more days in
  19. if its windy....it'll be windy at blue.
  20. Well they weren't blowing over the weekend because....it was warm? You can't blow snow when it's not cold enough. As for getting the whole mountain open, I agree, but Blue blows more then a 1" foot base on the trails they open. When they open a trail, its open for good even with a prolonged warm spell. I'm on the fence about Barb. Ray provided us with twice a day grooming all the time, as well as the earliest opening on the weekends in the Poconos. Barb has brought us the 6pack and its VIP line, a new trail, summer mountain biking, among other things. I'd say Barb has the bottom line on her mind, but wants to see Blue be more of a resort/family friendly place, rather then the old run down ski area it currently is. Blue has the most potential in PA with the most vertical and best lifts, it just needs some help.
  21. So you're staying in your car the whole time?
  22. I'm thinking I'll be there Sunday. I think that works better for ThinkSnow as well
  23. M-F at Blue is $10 off with a valid college ID. Morning (8:30-12:30) or afternoon(12:30-5) pass will run you $29, or 4-10pm will run you $22 during the week.
  24. miller is not legit enough for PASR
  25. No need for a car in Jackson. Transportation is great in the town of Jackson and Teton Village. The 49er has shuttles to and from the mountain, however, the town busses run everywhere and very frequently. To get from the airport, you can either take a cab, or use Alltrans ( http://www.jacksonholealltrans.com )
