  1. But it did Toast and I are getting there at 6am to get in line.
  2. oh...who was right about them not opening the 6pack? Give it a week or two.
  3. Just talked to NSJay...he figured since Blue wasn't opening, him and the wifey would spend the weekend in NYC
  4. sucks what time do you work until? Wave as GSS, Toast, and I are first down midway
  5. hopefully this late announcement will keep the crowds down
  6. LOL I guess the lift inspector came early. Blue is a bunch of clowns these days.
  7. I was in no rush to get up this morning so I left my apartment in the southside of the B at about 7:45am. I arrived 58 minutes later at BB's parking lot, which was freaking empty so I grabbed a nice spot right by the lodge. I was worried that Big Boulder Trail wouldn't be open (main reason I was there), but alas, I could see someone coming down as I was pulling in. Booted up and hit the snow. You couldn't skate over to the Boulder lift today (maybe tomorrow), so I had to take the double up to the top and work my way over. BB trail had some great snow on it, that trademark BB blower They topped it off with some manmade from the fan guns and left it ungroomed for a nice soft surface. They missed about 30 feet 3/4 of the way down the trail and it was rock hard frozen cord with some death cookies. I just straight ran that short section to get to the last "headwall" which was nice soft snow again. There was nobody on that side of the mountain and I proceeded to do lap after lap making some nice turns down BB trail. I had to be home by noon to order some concert tickets, so I peaced out around 10:55am. Some really nice conditions, and there was snow everywhere. Didn't see anyone I knew, but I figured most JFBB PASR's would be over at JF.
  8. what to do what to do...bb trail opens tomorrow....should i goto bb or jf?
  9. If BB trail opens today, I'll at Boulder tomorrow.
  10. they dont have a year on it i have the same pass as last year.
  11. Well, say something to non season pass holders. I do.
  12. It already is.
  13. Jim Dailey is getting the job done as the new GM!
  14. Who cares if coverage is thin?! As long as they have good snowmaking temps at nights (which they do) they can build it up nightly. Stupid on their part.
  15. GSS and I were delighted to see it snowing when we left the casino...twas great for stoke
  16. I'm pretty sure they have compressors onboard. I guess I should have specified that fan guns don't need compressed air from the snowmaking system.
  17. They've opened Lazy before the quad as long as I can remember.
  18. Of course they want to open is ASAP...but they always turn the fan gun at the corner of shuttle and homestretch and the one in the base area on because they don't use any compressed air. That's the snowmaking on the those trails. They'd open Lazy Mile long before they opened the 6pack up. They do the same thing every year, trust me.
  19. 6pack open this weekend? you're kidding, right? they need falls, tutslane, homestretch, etc, to open it up. Give it a week or two.
  20. Awesome. Any news on additional trail openings at BB?
  21. Starts with a K
  22. that's all im going to give up!
  23. His name rhymes with Glenn.
  24. It was freakin packed. Like parking lot shit on the slopes. I'll upload the pic of the masses later, but the GSS vlog from BB is coming soon...I'll let GSS post the report.
  25. hahha you slipped that PASR turns in there as a technicality
