  1. You're next on my list, and since we already know your name...maybe there's another name that will strike a nerve!
  2. hahah there he is! I'm glad he feels the need to harass me.
  3. I've been on the same lift as FGT this year
  4. We did nothing wrong. I did not provoke him at all. He had every intent of riding the lift with us, and harassing me about recent events, totally unprovoked. Regardless of what Doug and I do, ski patrollers are representatives of the mountain and should act as such. Harassing customers is NOT one of their jobs. I've never met him before, and he just waited at the bottom for me.
  5. Well, after talking with GSS at 5pm about his meeting, I decided to come up for some turns to get my pass back. I arrived 45 minutes later, and after a long search for my pass in Dennis Krell's office, we found it. Dennis wasn't there but I spoke with him on the phone. Jim activated my pass again, and out on the snow I went. I was back at the Blue the True since my incident on Thursday with Stephen, the green/blue bucket helmeted snowboard ski patroller. First lift ride up I rode the lift with concussion Ted. I told him I was out of ski patrol jail, and he's like every other patroller now, wanted to immediately argue with me. What has happened has happened, but they always want to argue. I skied a run down Challenge and then rode the lift up myself. At the top was GSS and Skier1112. Doug and I flew down Razors while skier1112 did the park. Coming down home stretch, I rounded the turn, and saw a patroller waiting at the end of the coral with a shit eating grin on his face, looking right at me. I thought nothing of it, and proceeded to get on the lift with Doug. I was in the middle, Doug on my left, and the patroller hauled ass to get on with us, and he was on my right. He had the biggest shit eating grin on his face. I knew he wanted to say something. SP = "How are you guys doing tonight?" (still smiling) Me = "Just great" SP = "Let me see your pass" (this is how my incident started on Thursday) Me = "You've got to be kidding me" SP = "Let me see your pass" Me = "Let me see your pass, what is your name?" SP = "Let me see your pass" I show him my pass like I was proud of it. He looked at it and said: SP = "How did you get that back, Jeff?" Me = "I got it back" SP = "Well congratulations" Me = "What's your name?" SP = "Rob" He wouldn't surrender his last name, but that wasn't an issue as we know plenty at Blue. He started going on about why I wouldn't show Stephen my pass, etc. Me = "Just stop talking right now. I don't need this shit, and lucky for you, Rob, we're having a meeting with the Director of SP and Dennis Krell this weekend, and you better believe your name is coming up for harassing me" SP = "Lucky for me? I just love reading PASR because you guys are enthusiasts and just love to ski" At this time he was just patronizing us, as at every opportunity he had to talk, he tried to grill us on harassing ski patrol, etc. He kept saying we were provoking ski patrol and that it's not about being in control, its about fast skiing. Doug quickly repeated what the GM said about fast skiing on Paradise. Rob doesn't like how we talk about "red coats" on PASR, and he kept going on about it. He was saying we're incriminating ourselves and that we shouldn't be posting stuff online about patrollers. It's called free speech buddy. We found out later tonight that his last name is Cook, so Rob Cook, I just want to say "Hi" and maybe we'll see you again at Blue. You really seemed to enjoy riding the lift with us twice. Your lame attempts at harassing us are well documented here. We're going to have a chat with your boss about your unprovoked harassment. I skied about 10 runs and headed out. There's never a dull moment at Blue.
  6. Bingo. Scraping off the wax while it's still warm "pulls" dirt out of your base.
  7. PC and his son have season passes...i think he was referring to the cost of driving round trip from his house near the philly airport...
  8. Just wanted to remind everyone to go into Guest Services to get your free ticket. It seems like they don't do this at the ticket window, or, at least the women I first talked to at the ticket window looked at me like I was crazy. Guest services is just to the left of the ticket windows through the double doors. I used this on Friday and Saturday. Great deal they've got going on.
  9. I don't ski Floyds....it's too steep.
  10. In my vacation from Blue, I hit up CB again this morning to ski with Tele-Ben. CB opens at 8:30 for the public and 7:30 for season pass holders, etc. As a special guest, I was skiing by 7:45am...earlier then those Blue clowns! Snow was great to start. We lapped the Sullivan, hitting the front four and Big Pocono until 8:30am. They had to re-groom the east side this morning, so it didn't open up until 8:30am, but when it did, it was sweet. Buttery smooth fresh cord on Cliffy, Pharaoh, and Pocono Raceway were awesome. Nile Mile was pretty steezy as well. Tele-Ben rocks the tele specific K2s...pretty much the same as PEs, so we were both kicking up some awesome spray. We sampled everything on the east side and then moved back to the Sullivan for some more front four action in the sun. When we returned, the snow was softer and better then earlier. Conditions were pretty freakin soft, and the temps were climbing rapidly. I had my fill and left at 11am. Nice change of pace to ski at CB. The ski patrol there is a lot cooler then the patrollers at Blue, and like Ben pointed out, CB has rangers to take the bad rap. Anyway...nice day at CB
  11. Ya that'd be tele-ben...he's pretty freakin good.
  12. Anyone going to be there on Sunday?
  13. After being asked not to return to Blue for two days I headed for Camelback to take advantage of their free skiing for passholders of other mountains. I called CB's director of marketing, and PASR member, Craig to see if he wanted to make some turns. He didn't answer his cell phone, so I figured I'd have a nice session to myself. Lapped the front four a few times, and then worked my way over to the Stevenson to do some laps off of Cliffy and the others. Not too much later I was bombing down Cliffhanger, and got some nice air right next to the slow skiing sign near the lift. When I got to the top, there were two patrollers waiting for me Not again. It was none other then PASR's MtnBiker99x and Tele-Ben, who were just chillin at the top. We talked for awhile, and I told them what happened. Between their laughs, some choice words were said We skied a run or two, and then they got a call for an unconscious skier. To regain my karma with the NSP, I tagged along. It was great for stoke. Hopefully Blue Mtn patrollers hear of my good deeds. I skied a few more runs then went in to the patrol hq to talk to Ben and Dennis as I hadn't seen either one of them in awhile. Conditions were soft but fast. A little too soft for my liking, but not bad overall. Cliffy was probably the best of the day, with the right side of the headwall being smooth and fast. Tele-Ben is going to give me a ring if he's going to be skiing in the morning...if not, I'll head to Jack Frost. Nice day at CB for a Blue Mountain Rebel.
  14. oh ya...i rode the lift with matt stunt...who was smoking a blunt lol. he's going to get drunk with dan sobey tongiht, and then post about it.
  15. conditions were great...this week has been awesome. tomorrow is gunna be cloudy and freakin warm. spring snow!
  16. Good one. Nobody has ever made that joke on here before.
  17. LOL...my coworkers are wondering what I'm laughing about
  18. I'm going to end up with 75 days this year.
  19. holla...you gunna be there in the morning? afternoon?
  20. Hit the snow at 12:30pm...it was just as sunny, but warmer and less windy then yesterday. Conditions were perfect. Snow was grippy and smooth. The headwall on Challenge had some small piles of soft snow that I avoided, but the snow was awesome. Falls was my favorite, allowing me to carve deep rail road tracks down it that were visible from the lift Razors was wasn't as smooth so I lapped Challenge about 7 times in a row. I moved onto Dreamweaver, which was probably the best snow on the mountain. Paradise was awesome as well. Lazy was pretty good as well. I skied 20 runs in 3 hours and 10 minutes, and saw GSS in the parking lot on my way out. Legit day at Blue the True...JADIP. Conditions this week are AWESOME. Get out there and ski before spring hits this Friday!
  21. Today looks ever better then yesterday....warmer and no winds! I'm stoked. Slalom skis are calling Screw work...I'm leaving...the webcam is getting me too excited
  22. Pulled in at 12:45pm and knew via text message that Toast was en route as well. I took my time booting up but I saw him pulling into the parking lot as I was getting onto the lift, so I took a run down a very soft, powdery Razors and waited for him at the bottom. There were some random chunks of ice, and it was about 6/10. I was on my slalom skis, so I was itching for some grippy smooth snow. Toast took a run down the park on his park skis to scope it out, and I took a run down Challenge. The headwall was AWESOME. Smooth and super grippy. I was making really tight turns down the headwall, and the middle was super smooth for getting some steezy speed. At the bottom Toast said the parked sucked, so he switched skis. We sampled a little of everything...Paradise, Dreamweaver, Razors, Challenge, Lazy, Sidewinder, and Main Street. The best snow on the mountain was in the middle section of Paradise and on the headwall of Challenge. Lazy had pretty decent snow as well. It was a little too windy, but the snow conditions made up for it. The air was cold, but the bright sun made it feel really warm. We skied 18 runs of awesome conditions...JADIP at Blue the True! I'm going to delay my arrival tomorrow to ski with the Blue Crue. Toast will be in the house later in the afternoon, as will GSS.
  23. They are out of control this year.
