Nah...that's for overweight or oversized stuff. You're allowed a boot bag + ski bag as one piece of "luggage" to be checked. American is $15 for the first, $25 for the second, and I think $100 for the third+

$40 for baggage in coach, or $70 for first w/ no baggage fee. It's a no brainer. Just got home from a cocktail party...gotta tune my skis and do some wash for Blue Mountain tomorrow.

Since Doug is the only PASR going to JH after me I have a surprise for him. Snagged first class on the way home for $70. You don't have to pay the $40 for luggage so it's really only $30. Not bad, plus they're serving breakfast.

Newark is only supposed to get 2-4" max, so it hopefully I'll make it in no problem. Stoke for tomorrow morning!

Delta out of PHL to Kalispel (FCA) is your best bet, and is a one stopper in SLC for $503 including taxes ($454 before). Expensive, yes, but flights to Jackson were all over $400 without taxes (besides the one I snagged for $302). Worth it if Sibhusky is providing free accommodations

The line was busy. The new Jeff is a pussy. If you went through what I went through, you'd appreciate getting to the mountain at the bottom of a day (or trip) in once piece. It's happened twice to me, and it's not fun. The new Jeff skied 6 great days and is content. No need to push it.
