I guess you're umfailiar Chippy, but steeper pitches don't have as much snow on them, hence, a few 50 degree days and it all goes away. There is MORE then adequate converage on the trails you would ski on.
zomg! Corbets isn't open. What ever shall Chippy do?
we do it because not enough of you cb passholders bitch for anything to change. i dont know how you can sit there and be fine with them closing during the week, even if you dont ski during the week. it pisses me off that cb does this shit, because i know people like timeless and glenn like to get midweek laps in.
Nobody else has high speed lifts in Eastern PA to compare to, so who else am I going to compare them to?
And Camelback gets marginally more snow, and if anything, because of the temps, Blue has to deal with more ice then CB.
With no HSDQ's and very limited terrain.
Blue had both lifts spinning, the one being as old as the Stevenson and 100% terrain open.
As a patroller, I bet you love when they shrink the mountain. As a customer, I wouldn't.
If there a setting for that in a Benz, I'm assuming AWD is rear wheel drive most of the time, only powering the frot wheels when needed, where 4WD has all 4 wheels being powered.
There's your problem right there. Camelback thinks its acceptable to close their quads, because Customers don't care about getting to the top fast, but they care more about using the correct lift due to crowds. I guess thats how you guys over at CB rationalize dumb decisions.
Game. Set. Match.
I drive a bimmer with rwd and I got there and back no problem. I worry too much on the slopes weather I'm going to get home or not, but the roads are always better then expected. you won't have a problem tomorrow.
