Ummm...last time I cheked you were just a patroller, and not in the marketing department.

I slept in, skipped my last class before spring break so I could finish writing a paper, which I finished at 10am....handed it in, picked up my pay check, stopped at the bank, went home, and was en route for the boot at 10:56am...pulled in at 11:25am and started skiing FRESH CORD at 11:30.....there was still fresh cord at 1:30! The snow was freaking PERFECT. It doesn't get any better then that in the spring, imo. mad hero snow. challenge was all cord on the right side, nice and soft. razors was a little more beat up, but still fresh cord on the right, and you could rip the biggest GS arcs down the whole trail thats how smooth it was. no gapers out today...just some race kids and some jib honks. I did 7runs by the time doug got there, and we did the bumps 5 times. doug can freakin RIP in the bumps. I was shocked...He got several corn face shots. After several bumps runs and lots of freakin ripping i was getting tired around 25 runs, doug's like stay for a few more....and after getting to 30 i was like eh wtf, so i ended up skiing 40 runs for 42320 vert, which is my best ever. the snow was just freakin perfect, and nobody was there. One of the top 5 days of the season, fo sho.

Ski911 isn't fast. No patroller is. They think they're hot shiat until Doug or I blow their doors off. I would hate to have to wear a fanny back...OK...back to my soda

I'm working in the morning today instead of my normal afternoon hours....so after some coding and installing php on a windows server...i'll be at the boot....probably around 1:30ish?

Except Tretiak, they're allowed to skip the lift line because they're paying for a closed trail, so they've got to get the most efficient use of it. It's the same reason Doug and I skip the lift line on the left....we're just trying to catch up with our team.

The race team is $490 for weekend training ONLY. Extended weekday training is another $300 I think.

Sorry Dan, but you don't own the mountain either. I could care less if they're doing whatever they want on an open trail, at least it's not closed. They didn't close Razors on Sunday, and I'm sure it was killing the race team, and yes, I did have to avoid them on Razors, but at least the trail was open, and I always put on a good show when I ski by. Anyway, I don't see the race team any worse then random gapers, or ski patrollers blocking my way. There seams to be alot of animosty towards the race team from the park rats, most likely because you guys wish you were entitled to the perks that they get (closed trail). I see nothing wrong with what they were doing. You were simply picking a fight with the race team. Do I hate trail whores? Yes. Do I blow by them a second later? Yes. It's really not worth your time to argue with anyone about it.

Yes...My SL skis are 37/25 which is mofo stiff....my GS skis are 48/38, the GS skis being softer, but they're the perfect flex for a 200lb guy on 183's. Any softer then that would not be suited for real racing.

That may be your opinion, but I'd rank Elan race skis much higher up, and K2 much lower. The SLX and GSX from Elan are pretty nice skis. I wouldn't ski Atomics unless they were, imo, the best.
