haha bob...i'm telling you, it's those mofo skis, not me. I wasn't even pushing it...just cruising along too bad we didn't meet up with you and alfonso earlier, but the middle section of challange was freakin sweet, and lunch was a good time...ok time for some sugar free redbull and yuengling

It has nothing to do with the boots. I do it too.

Why was Ridge skiing with the Blue Mountain Race team? Papacheeze isn't coming to Blue next year is he?

Pretty steezy day...Skied with NASTAR Glenn right from the start...took a run with t3h Freeridintre but he was a little biotch about the wind, so him and jibhonks justin and his girlfriend went back inside. Snow was really nice, despite the extreme wind at the top, but it subsided once you got off the headwall. We mostly lapped Challange and Switchback, with some runs on Main Street and Lazy. We also did two full throttle runs down Paradise, including passing a ski patroller, only to hear no whistle. Mad pasr's in the house....atomic jeff, nastar glenn, grilledsteeze, zonked, concussion ted, sexkitten, boblikescats, danger, eugene. We skied with Chippy for a run or two, then we skied with Zonked alot. After our 19th run we saw sexkitten and bob at the bottom about to leave, and bob wanted to take a run with us, which turned into two runs. We had saw kitten earlier from the lift when doug yelled "yea alfonso, hit the butter box!" We ended up hitting the booter mtn drive in with them for some funny times. I followed Doug to a store, so it was doug, me, then boblikescats in a line, and at stoplights, doug was bouncing tennisballs back to me seeing if I could catch them. bobliekscats almost jumped out of the car to get one. We had time to stop for several minutes, and I eventually caught back up to bob and kitten as they were waiting in the HUGE line for 22 west. we did 21 runs for 22k+ vertical...don't know the official number yet.

Most guys are at 190+ for GS. I know 'Dude said at NASTAR Nationals, D$ was running 190+'s for NASTAR. The #1 guy on our team is on 190s, with the rest of the top guys on 186's...my 183's feel so short. I wouldn't mind 186's.

For some reason I have a hard time believing there are alot of women in their early twenties that are in ski clubs...

Sally Slifkin and I are going to Montage on Sunday I believe. We want to avoid seeing Metz at Blue in a speed suit.
-
Sorry, but there is no reason to join a ski club, except for the camaradarie

Because PennDOT controls Blue Mountain. They could close the roads though

Poop, this is your first, and only warning. Please stop the swearing.

This is the Dawn Report for February 22, 2007. All 30 trails and 6 lifts were running today on a machine groomed packed power primary surface with korn as the secondary surface. Check out skibluemt.com for more details.. haha, anyway, for the actual report since I skied before I wrote this, I was like the 5th chair up....conditions were mad steezy...definatly mad goldilocks out there...switchback was the best, right side of challenge was sweet. Lazy mile was OK, main street was pretty good. I did 22 runs in 2.75 hours (16 runs in the first two hour, and I had 15 minutes left to do 24, so the whole time it was an 8run/hour pace, which Doug can't even touch. Snow was soft on top with firm stuff down below, though it was sweet when it was fresh cord all over. Switchback had the grippiest/firmest snow as it was blown on most recently. Did some mad steezy super-g turns on that mofo. anyway, im sure doug will have the night report...it'll definatly get chopped up by then. i know jibhonks like trevor, justin, and kevin are just getting out of the shower now, and will be working their way up to blue.

What's Philpug going to do without his ASC pass?
-
Those are the equivilents of 300cm skis
-
I think your girlfriend said the same thing Doug, I've done the WhaleRail plenty of times
-
183cm @ 24m isn't exactly snappy. You have to stop in the parking every 2 runs and take your skis off, and plus you get bored just skiing, so we lap the mountain the fastest. Funny, I've never seen you lap us
-
I watch the XGames and the Olympics and the WC and yet I don't see any of them. BTW Rob, I did get to Camelback to see Ridge race...tell him congrats on 32nd! He'll be top 20 in no time This thread is so dumb. Who cares where he is? We need a topic "Where is Ray Tuthill?"
-
Nobody, and I mean nobody laps Blue faster then Doug and I do. The best we've ever done is 8 runs in 1 hour. That's the ABSOLUTE best you can do, though 7 is the norm when there are absoloutely no lift lines. 6 with light crowds, 5 with a few minute wait. Reminds me of a lift ride last year: Guy: "Beautiful morning out here, I've got 9 runs in already" Doug: "No you don't" Guy: "Yes I do" Doug: "You haven't lapped us yet, and you don't ski as fast as us, and we only have 8" Guy: "I actually think I only did 7"
