I share the exact same thoughts on the new website. There is quite a bit of stuff that doesn't work properly.
  4. Blue has Parklogic now, so it has to be better.
  5. After closing at 4 today, they'll be closed till they can make more snow
  6. Skidude = faster then my bimmer.
  7. This should do the trick.... http://cgi.ebay.com/MOTOROLA-OEM-RAZR-UNIV...1QQcmdZViewItem
  8. it looks packed..
  9. i thought coverage was pretty good for how warm its been...they just need some snow on that skeet skeet spot...
  10. I've skied with Doug almost 100 times more then you have....I am also a smartstyle instructor. PM Papacheeze about smart style...
  11. I was on the snow at the boot at 5:15pm, and met up with Doug on my first run down. Conditions were mad steezy, and much better then I expected. Not quite sweet and low, though there was some apple sauce on Easy out, which is also sweet. Doug and I were doing Main Street or Vista to Easy out to Midway to Main street laps which where nice. Around 7 we saw the Parklogic crew making rails at blue. Saw PASR homeboy shadows up there, he was grillin some steeze in the park. Decent first day on the snow, and I was surprised how much coverage there is. 14 runs for 11,200 vert...easy stylin it my first day.
  12. It just really goes to show the clientel each mountains attracts. Camelback is analogous to a fair weather skier, while Blue is the Doug's of the ski industry. Camelback may make more, but running a buisness isn't all about the money. Marketing departments aside, what is better marketing, being open, or closed? I think being open with crappy conditions is better then being closed.
  13. You'd think that Camelback's colder temps would help, combined with the fact that they delayed opening for a week to let the snow sit in piles, which slows down melting.
  14. Hopefully by MLK the mountains will still be open, let alone with more trails, but by then ever place should be up and running with tubing/etc, so it pretty much doesn't matter where you go.
  15. You guys can say all you want, but explain to me why Blue was open today and Camelback wasn't? Blue is a buisness, a ski business, and they're open for skiing.
  16. I guess you don't understand how things work, well then again, either does Camelback. Skiing is 100% based on weather conditions, and well, it's bad weather, so chances are the skiing isn't going to be so great either. So I don't know what is going through anyones mind when they get to a mountain after a month of warm temps and rain and think conditions would be good. That's just absurd. It'd be one thing if there were snowmaking temperatures today, but there aren't. There is snow on the trails, which means Blue is open, and so should Camelback. There is no excuse.
  17. Papa, do you stay up ALL night and watch the mountain? Is it possible they were blowing snow in your sleep?
  18. My dad has played golf 10 times in December, and that's a record for him.
  19. papacheese prolly knows....
  20. You're nuts for skiing at Blue, or any mountain right now without a season pass, simply not worth it. Out of curiosity, what time of day were you there? By your description, it had to be mid day.
