We have a house 20 minutes from Bromley, and I always ski there Sunday morning before I head home for the week. I usually ski Kmart Friday, Okemo Saturday, and hit Bromley sunday morning until 12 (they have pretty good rates for a Sunday morning pass). I really like it there. Reminds me of a larger version of Blue Mtn. It's southern facing so it's always sunny, and the terrain is nice. Definatly check it out, and you have to eat at Laney's in Manchester. Best ribs.

You aren't going to find good conditions anywhere. If you feel like snowboarding...go.

Yes, i do know that for a fact, considering I have raced at BC plenty of times, and Blue plenty of times. The fact is, you've never raced at Blue, so you're not even qualified to make any kind of statement about Blue, I am. I know for the fact that BC is a shorter, more mellow, eaiser course then Blue. Describe the course on Raceway for me, Rob.

those skis make my mouth water.... doug, those retail for a bit more then your lt:11's do...those are some great skis....

why would he, or anyone, want to do that? bc's nastar sucks compared to blue. its over on the right side of the mountain, to the skiers left as you're sking down under that tripple chair it's a modified gs setup. it fits well in the space provided. How long is the course? The length of raceway...it might take me 22 or 23 seconds, and some people over 30, just depends. And don't worry about your times, the good thing is they only get better.

Hey, a bunch of guys do nastar at blue every thursday night, starting this year on jan 4th. they also do it sunday afternoon. nastar is extremely laid back, and alot of fun. no pressure what so ever. most people just race in their jackets. i drop my jacket at the start and race in my fleece, which cuts about a 1/2 second off my time. a typical night for me goes like this 5pm - arrive at blue, boot up, and do some quick laps for an hour off of the quad. 6pm - start working my way over to the nastar shack at the top of raceway, and meet up with the rest of the pasr nastar blue groupies. we'll hang out till they open up registartion, which is around 6:15. its $5 for 2 runs, $15 for unlimited. we all get unlimited, cause its not rare that we do more then 10 race runs per night. pay your money, get your number, and head over the start house to get in the intial line, which is nonexistant after your first two runs. 6:30pm - time to fly! it's really alot of fun, great group of guys from the blue race team that run it, and all the pasr guys that come out always have a great time 8-8:30pm we usually quit around then, as we've done plenty of race runs, and sometimes the course is beat by then. 8:30pm - we do top speed runs down razors edge, multiple times...hehe definatly come out, and introduce yourself. its extremely laid back, even racing n00bs like grilledsteezesandwich have gotten addicted to it! I'm sure he'll add his comments about nastar when he returns from blue mountain.

The REALLY ironic thing is your preaching to me about a real job, when the only job you could get is some job handed to you by your ex-wifes family construction business? What's your college degree in, Rob? Are you really saying all this stuff with a straight face? You must actually believe you know how to run a business. If I were an investor, I'd certainly take my money elsewhere with your "business strategy".

No, I find flaw in Robs thinking, and my main point was against 99% of the people who posted here, forgetting that JFBB is first and foremost a business with employees.

A perfect example Rob: You. You worked for PASR, you don't own the place, you thought you did, you stepped on our toes, now you don't work for us, regardless of what good you where doing. Pretty much what happened with PL and JFBB

PL lead, now they're "the hell out of the way" Great point Rob. I agree with FGT. Just because you're the best, doesn't mean you indispensible. Look at TO. He thought he was indispensible, and did whatever he wanted, and now he's gone and someone else's problem. TO is a great football player, but he also has a boss, and when you don't respect your superiors, you get fired. PL guys can do great things, but they don't own the mountain. They have bosses, and people to report to. Their job was to revamp the parks, not play with snowguns or anything else. They had their place at JFBB, and apparently, they grew out of their space. I know you have this new schooler "rebel" attitude Rob, but when you start stepping on the wrong people's toes, things will happen, regardless if you're Shawn Orrechio or some cafeteria worker. I'm not disrespecting Shawn, he's a great guy, but JFBB is a buisness, and regardless of what they might provide to the customer, if you don't follow the way the business is run as an employee, then they're going to make you "get the hell out of the way".
