Yes, masks are required on the lift if riding two up.
-
Don't know if this has been brought up ... but what is the PASR comfort level in terms of lift riding, especially double chair lift riding? I feel like masked up double chair riding, given the speed at which you are moving, is reasonably safe, but I know that some see the lift as a mask reprieve. Just curious on what everyone is thinking ....

This. It's a great way to break up the day. I sometimes will drive 10-15 minutes to a local trail or somewhere else just for new scenery after I'm done with work.

What’s detuning?!

Can I pay you in Blue Bucks?

@Ski2Live Live2Ski how much for a live show with the whole band in blue's lot?
-
hah ... that made me laugh.

Does it? Besides some reduced socializing, it's been OK. More working from home, more running, more flexibility, great excuse to not socialize with people you don't want to.

those only worked for "card present". i work for a company that handles all aspects of payments. but, i really know nothing about our products.

That's *way* too advanced for him.

These policies are just theatre. They can’t “require” anything, as noted in the article. “Self certification” 😂

@liplipliplip hope you got a COVID test before crossing our border!

I remember when we went back over 500 cases in a day and were all "we're fucked". we're proper fucked now.

Skied Hunter today with @GSSucks. Since I’m #Epic this year, figured I might as well use the pass on the East Coast as well. 5:25am departure and smooth sailing and arrived at Hunter 2h40m later. Got my Epic Pass pretty quickly and we were on the snow a few minutes after they opened. This is my second longest opening day run (the first being T2B Mount Snow with @GrilledSteezeSandwich) ... 1600ish vert (?) in variable conditions is enough of a leg burner on the first day. Pretty thin cover meant grooming was tough as they had almost nothing to work with. It was firm up top and spring like down at the bottom. Weather ranged from bluebird, to overcast, to snowing, to pissing rain. We skied for 2 hours and when a 30 minute rain storm rolled in we retreated to the lot for some beers.

Correct. @toast21602 and I feasted in the United Club in LHR, widely recognized as the best UC anywhere in United's network. @saltyant aviation thread talk.

Pretty naive given how little we knew and how few precautions were taken back then. Even given today's numbers in the US, we can probably have a safer ski season than Europe was having in mid March. I think back to our European ski trip were we packed into 50 and 110 person trams butt to nuts. Not good at all. If there was a place I was going to get covid in the last 11 months, that was it.

It looked empty today.
