It's a special compound that melts the snow to form a different molecular structure to allow the water to freeze at higher temperatures. And it works miracles! I've skied on Razors Edge at Blue after the race team salted it for practice. It was hard as a rock, not to mention it was 45 degrees and pouring rain.
Your best bet is to PM Mtnbiker99x. He's a professional photog as well, but he's got the ultimate gear. I think he bought a MarkII 1DS if I recall (i know he was thinking about it) and he has a 20d as a backup cam, but alll his lenses are 2.8's, he shot me skiing at CB, and shortly there after a CD arrived in my mailbox with over 100 uber high resolution pics of me
But as long as I can get back up to montage for free, ski999 and i could both go at it, and see how gets the bets shots
I sold my Nikon D50 for a Canon 20D. I shot w/ the Nikon for awhile, and grew out of it quickly. I need some lenses for the 20D. Here are some shots from recent photoshoot I did for a friend at the Bethlehem steel site....
I only have a crappy lense for the 20D, so when I get some decent ones, I'll be able to compare them more easilly, but even w/ a crappy lense, the 20d is amazing.
LOL
I could've skied "for" Breck if i I want to, or anyone. I doubt any mountain cares if Ridge Larick represents them or the next mountain. I'm sure Camelback was really mad when you decided to remove Ridge from the Camelback Nastar Team.
You either walk from your front door to the snow, or you walk from your condo door to the snow, 100x more "ski in / ski out" then northridge is, because northridge is not ski in / ski out. I see them being a sucess, as much as I hate to think what it will do to the 7:30am line to get your ticket scan.
I've sharpened the edges on my GS:11s everytime I've used them (except maybe once or twice) with a mill file (not an aggressive one), and they still have alot of edge left in them, no where near what they were when I got them, but good for another season!
Even if you're not a season pass holder, you can email them your address and request a Early Bird Special form in early may...the money is usually due by June 16th or so, but you get a great deal.
I think you mean the first one. It looks like really soft snow, and sometimes that inside ski or outside ski just gets caught up, and stuck out away from you, and you have to use that inside ski to help correct it. When Ski999 took pics of me recently, all but one of my pics came out great, and that one I happened to be doing the exact same thing as Ridge, and it happens frequently in heavy, soft snow.
What's wrong with calling Nestors? You obviously had something to hide, as your pricing was incorrect, he's just helping out the consumer.
As for your comments, they won't be tolerated, and you both had kept it very civil until that post, so thanks for ruining a decent debate.
