It looks like it's going to reach 70 degrees next saturday, in bethlehem at least. I don't think I've ever skied when it's in the 70's. 60's, yes, but not the 70s. Break out the shorts!

The running man was so funny

Thanks '999 for posting the pics! It was a great day.... BTW, that's Skimom in the first pic, for those of you who didn't know I finished 8th overall, and I made it to the quarter finals in the go-pro where i got knocked out by Bernie Resch, one of the top racers in the northeast....he's got a 3 HC in NASTAR, but in the normal GS part, i was only 5 seconds off his pace after two runs, I consider that an accomplishment.

You drop in sib?

Even if you're not a returning season pass holder, you can get the early bird special, and for a student, this year it was $322 for an everyday pass
-

-
I didn't know one belonged on the world cup, either....

My friend shot this with his cell phone last night... http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/index.p...&cmd=si&img=665

You're not representing PA though, are you? You're representing Breckonridge, right?

Sell them and get a pair of Atomics.

I just saw Wedding crashers last night....
-
They have those in front of every feature. And you'd be surprised, just the other day Doug and I were going through the park, and all of a sudden i hear from behind "WHOA!!!!".....in sunlight Doug didn't even see the roller in front of him and almost whipped out, even WITH the orange lolipop there....

Just wanted to let you know that '999 said congrats!

Ski boots for $90? I hope they don't fall apart on the first run It was slick, but nothing that a sharp pair of atomic's can't handle. It was the kind of ice that I love to arc fast turns down Razors, really makes you get your outside ski away from you. Most people would call it an "icy death" but Doug and I on our freshly tuned Atomics had no problem whatsoever.

yea, it's a high school...most likely that trains in the morning, and goes to school in the afternoon....congrats

Really nice day. Pulled in around 7:13, two cars behind Atomic Doug. I made some quick adjustments to his new 2006 Atomic LT:11s, we booted up, and we were out on the snow. Switch096 was already waiting in the ticket check line. We did all but one of our runs with him (he left when we were taking our last lift ride up). We also skied with my friend Tom. Really nice day, we did 17 runs on the quad, and 3 on the main street lift. 20k on a weekend is february is mad steezy. Doug was on his new Atomics, which he really seemed to like. We even got 5 runs on razors before the race team closed it, but we got a few on it afterwards, too. Montage tomorrow! oh btw, was that you stevo yelling atomic jeff?

Doug and Atomic Jeff almost got kicked out!

We were in control, and going slow. There was no reason for him to pull us over in the first place. I guess you have to be in a wedge to look like you're going slow. If I ever get pulled over for tucking the entire length of Razors, I'm just going to tell that patroller to talk to Mark Miller. He was at blue last night starting at 6, but we didn't stick around long enough to find him -
I'll be doing NASTAR along with Doug, Metz the Jerz Boy, Ski999 and maybe a few other tag alongs

Justo, cutting off at Grouse road off of 248 and intersecting with 946 in 3 miles is faster then taking 248 to blue mtn drive. I take airport road (by my house) to the end, make a left onto 248 for about 100 feet, hang a right onto grouse road, take that to the end (3 miles) left on 946, and 6 miles later you're at Blue.

That's not a race model, that's more of an all mountain cruiser ski. Still a good intermediate ski....
-
I will, you just be prepared, too.
-
You'll only get a 20HC if I get a 10HC, plain and simple. But you know what? Doug's taking you out. We're going to be working on stuff all night tonight....He's going to beat you by even MORE then he usually does
-
Doug, do you want me to bring the GS:9s tonight to train on? Or should I preserve the tune for tomorrow? Metz, do you think you're going to beat me, too?
-
Doug, hands down. Doug's going to be my GS:9s which are so sharp, and have really fast bases (over 100 waxings)....and plus he knows how to arc... I've got "we are the champions" in the headpod right now
