Ski999 and I have same the same spyder jacket, and i love it! MUCH higher quality then any other jacket I've owned in the past from North Face and Columbia.

No, I'm not hating on him, he's a nice guy. BUT, if he is a good coach, which i'm sure he is, who has he taught in previous years that has had success? To make the program REALLY legitimate, and get respected at Blue Mountain, the freeride team needs some serious talent, to say "i'm on the freeride team". Like if KT and Justin, and Ryan Miller were officially on the team, that would add some serious legitamcy to the program, to say those three are products of the program. Like when Ridge is a J1 and he's #1 in the universe, someone can say he's a product of the CB race team, which adds legitimacy to CB's program. This is such a new thing though, and it's hard, since no mountain around here it seems has attempted such a program, and I applaud Chris for that. But when there are 20+ members, then it starts to have some pull around the mountain. I never forsee the freeride team outsizing the race team, but i mean, it could happen.

First off, everyone just relax. John and Justin, be glad. Be glad that you get to do your favorite thing at the mountain for free (less the cost of the season pass). You get to ride the park for free. Ski999 and I have to pay, and pay big just to do what we love. We have to pay $40-$45 for two stinkin race runs down little Tanglwood. Imagine if you had to pay $5 for two runs through the park, or $15 for unlimited everyday, like us racers do for NASTAR. Just be glad. I'll agree, a lot of racers have a god complex, especially at blue, but then I get in front of them, and show them how it's done For ever now, they HAVE ruled the mountain, they can skip lines, they get their own trail, etc. Ski999 is right, you can't except respect after one year. One way to get respect is to have coaches that get respected. No offense to Skier150, but who is he? Really? I don't remember seeing him win any freestyle events, or compete in the Xgames. Look at Camelback's race team. One of Adam's coaches, Randy, who I met at Blue on day, came in 2nd at the race at CB against the best 15-19 year olds in the state. That's someone who I can respect. I can't respect a coach that I never see running the gates, because how do I know how good he is? You need credentials. Justin, your brother is someone I would respect as a coach, cause he wins stuff. Though I think some of you park guys are a little sensative. I would be too, when you sit around for 5 minutes just to do one little trick, that must suck. I hate waiting 5 seconds for someone to get off the headwall. But you know what, the trail is open to EVERYONE. Why? Because it's free. If you want a closed trail, pay for it, racers do. Maybe when the DSFT gets to be as big as the race team, maybe you can close off sidewinder on weekend mornings, but for now, you can't expect anything, really. Just until a few years, all blue's team got was RACEWAY. Stinkin raceway. They built Razors Edge, specifcally for racing, and it was a much needed addition to the mountain for the race team. They now have the premier place to train and race eastern PA, at least. I got yelled at one day by those p-rats, cause i flew threw the park like a racer, thinking i would destroy the park, but I can keep it steezier then most people that go tooling through the park.

Maybe I generate alot of power out of the start, but they bend pretty easilly, at least at the ends...I even got some bends now in the middle, that may have been from blocking a GS gate, haha
-
I'm ready for this weekend...three fun races
-
Try grunting louder...the starter gets a kick out of that
-
A ski patrol actually stopped you for speeding on a Diamond....? Jeez. Good job though!
-
All metal poles are going to bend, the slalom poles that Ski999 gave me bend from just pushing out of the gate doing NASTAR, and they're pretty thick. They easilly bend back straight
-
The carpet guy came at 4:30, remember?
-
Metz, you do know that you don't put handguards on GS poles...lol, that'd look funny
-
My car said 48 degrees when I came home tonight....so the POURING rain and the warm temps + some fog surely isn't helping out the conditions...BRING THE ROCK SKIS, but otherwise, conditions were great today, and lines were nonexistance, empty chairs were going up at 11:45, i did 32 really nice runs today
-
i thought you had to work?
-
Yea, I was up on Wednesday, though I was a little later then usual...I think I got there around 4 and I left around 7 or so...
-
Hey, on thursday were you leaving around 4:30? When I was going by the blue mtn diner I saw a modded pontiac, and figured it was you...I was in the dark blue bimmer
-
He told me he had to stop...He's used to those short camelback runs
-
I'm laughing out loud right now
-
It really is an art, and he's perfected the process
-
mtbike mike isnt a patroller at CB, someone else with mountain bike in their name iis Casimir, come out to NASTAR on thursday night, a few patrollers do it and have fun! Then you can strut your stuff
-
I think EVERY quad chair has a skibum sticker on it, ALOT have PASR stickers...
-
You nearly tore something on your slalom boards, no need for the GS stix... And honestly, I thought the asp SUCKED friday night, sure it was fun, but those aren't bumps, they're just mounds of snow here and there, no rythem whatsoever. Montage has real bumps, as does Blue. Either groom it, or get some rythmic bumps like at Blue

That's how I clean my bases, iron it on, and scrape and brush right away.

Larick, Rige seems to be doing well Go Rige!
