  1. I'm talking about a gun...if you take a radar gun on the highway, you should see all the cars dart over into the right lane with their brakes on, especially on 78
  2. He's not having problems w/ the DIN, i think it's the front binding post...
  3. My friend has one, his dad used to use it to clock his pitches in baseball...we've used it before on the highway, it's amazing how many people have radar detectors...really opens the road up
  4. Yea, I remember that kid from last year... Lib, how could you miss Ski999 and I? We were both wearing the same exact jackets, same exact skis, we're not too hard to miss, and Ski999 has a bright orange helmet...
  5. http://www.skiracer.com/results06.html Results are up for this weekend!
  6. Runout at Montage's North Face? No. You'll be in the snowmaking pond if you don't stop
  7. I think you could carry some serious speed off of WL, much faster then I can get going on Razors
  8. Way to go '999, you must've been flying.... They should set up a gun at the bottom of WL
  9. WOW! 10th overall? Jeez, but then again, the big shots weren't there today...
  10. Perfect race day, couldn't be any better. I rolled into the Twood lot at 8am, Ski999 was already there, got registered, hung out for a bit, then Skimom rolled in, and eventually Metz did. The temperature was perfect for racing, like doug said, not too hot, not too cold. The snow was super grippy, and the course was AMAZING. Such nice offset and such a nice rythem, I was really impressed for Tanglwood. I got to run first for the men, so that was cool, I got the nicest course I laid down too REALLY solid runs, and I mean no mistakes like getting low, etc. I ran two 35's I think....Ski999 had a solid day, and just needed to get down twice to finish second (I needed to get down twice to finish first in my class), so he took it easy. Metz did well first his first race day, second day back after his injury.
  11. Rob, it's not really hard to understand, period. An "official" high handicapper (22 HC) runs a 16 HC run. That means they were "smoking" but really it was normal. That means everyone elses HC's are really high.
  12. They had a plaque mounted on the wall of the NASTAR shack that said "3rd fastest team at Pacesetter Trails"....that 6 HC guy needs to come out
  13. I'm just trying to earn a little respect around here
  14. http://www.nastar.com/index.jsp?pagename=r...44034&year=2006 Results are up! <----3rd fastest time of the night....
  15. 'Bike was around 28 Thinksnow was around 26 Doug was around 25 Ski999 was around 23 I was around 22 (when I wasn't on my ass) Funny thing, I ran a 24.xx even when I fell
  16. Well, let's just say I ripped it up
  17. Well, it was fun! Me, Ski999, Thinksnow, Doug, and mtbike-ski had a BLAST! Blue did a great job, and they had over 50 racers for the first ever NASTAR. I got #3, and '999 got #2.... I had a total of three falls, the one I still ran a time in the 24's...but my fastest was around a 22.14 maybe, which was my last one when Ski999, after I fell two times i a row, told me a run a 26. It was getting pretty rutted, but it wasn't slushy underneath, very hard and icy (GS:11s loved it, only if I would've gotten forward)....fun night for sure. And if you're wondering, yes, the world is still round
  18. Stunning Sib, just stunning...
  19. Rob, I'm not a freak, I wouldn't wear the suit for NASTAR
  20. Skimom, I'm up at Blue everynight, why wouldn't I not show? I'm itching to get into some gates Will you be at twood on Sat?
  21. Used a fake name last year, incase I didn't do so well at NASTAR, then Skidude couldn't make fun of me I used my real name for ASRA last year, and will be for NASTAR this year. As for the speed suit, I was hoping to have one for this weekend , but I will for the 1/22 at blue...
  22. Rivalry with Doug? Not really, we ski too much together to have a rivalry between us. I enjoy skiing with Doug, he adds some fun to my night, and I wouldn't want to have that stop because of racing... BTW, my turns are too tight for NASTAR
  23. who knows? this is blue's first NASTAR ever.
  24. Another topic on this? I think we know who's going to win why? just because he can ski a straight line?
