I'm going to take a nap, maybe my arm will feel better, but if it's not better by tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to have to take a day off cause I don't want to hurt it again

Well Doug and I were there at 7:10, and waiting in line by 7:25, we were the second chair up (I was the first chair yesterday) gahskier and his friend beat us up Doug and I both did 20 runs (21620 vertical feet)...we skied the last four or five w/ Thinksnow and his wonderful finance, Brie I took a VERY bad spill on Switchback, i think it was head over heels, all i remember was my head digging into the ground sooo hard, Greg was behind me, he saw the whole thing. Needless to say when I finally untangeled myself, everything was green But I got up after a few minutes of making sure nothing was broken (my left arm hurts a bit) and started arcing turns and jumping off of falls again, so it wasn't too bad. Another great day, and an empty day at Blue!

I really don't know what's going on tomorrow, I know I won't be there, Thinksnow may or may not be there....I know rob will be there though....for future days, we need to set a time...

Anybody who chooses to act like PASucks will be banned. This will not be tolerated here....

I love montage, but montage is a taller version of CB flipped around (with slightly longer headwalls) the runout at montage is just above you, which you never ski. I'd rather ski a mountain with a 800' vertical with no runout, then blue's 1081' vertical, with some runout...Straight down the headwall, straight onto the lift....

This belongs no where on this site, period. I don't know what would compel a person to post this online, especially an all-ages website such as this one, we might scar Skidude for life... /thread

45 degree bevel? are you kidding me? That's not even possible w/ the sidewall. I've skied plenty of twin's, nothing grips like a race ski Im running a 1 base / 3 side, and that's pretty aggressive.

Maybe it was me, or my tuning, but I didn't like that kind of ice on Lazy Mile. I like the scraped off kinda ice, that's hiding below the loose snow, that's my kinda ice. This was just slippery, non grippy stuff. I try to lay down an arc, a hard/low one EVERY time, and when I can't do that, it's a crappy day for me. I couldn't do it on Switchback, wasn't gripping/getting enough speed on Lazy, Main Street was OK, but still wasn't the snow I was looking for. Doug and I have had much better ripping nights. I don't care how much snow there was (cause there wasn't too much when I was there). I care about being able to tip the ski on high edge, and just let it arc, hard. Tonight wasn't the night. Two nights ago was.

Yes I'm serious. I was there from 3:30 until 5:30 and it was complete crap. If you thought tonight was good, I considered tonight my worst trip to Blue so far this year, by far. Maybe I've been spoiled by 13 days of GREAT skiing at Blue, but even at 4pm freezing rain was coming down. When the precipitation STINGS when it hits your face, it certaintly isn't snow. There was a hard crust starting to form on everything, Switchback being just rubbish (first day could be the culprit of that) but I'm taking tomorrow off and I'll be back out on Saturday morning at 7:30....

Tomorrow is my first day off, So i Won't be there, I need one day or rest for every 14 days i ski

Nick, I just got back from Blue. It was crap, snow was hard and rough and not fun for a skier, I'm taking my first day off tomorrow, i need to rest from 14 straight ski days in a row...
