Ski999 has created a skiing beast (His daughter). To see her ski is really amazing, for how young she is. She even tips her ski on edge...

Coming from 81, one of the country roads is almost a 90 degree turn, the road was fine, until I hit that turn, and spun the BMW around trying to to avoid going into the field, cause of the blown snow on the road. That's the only thing to watch out for, especially how cold it can get up there, the snow is very light, and will blow like crazy.

I'm going to ask both parties involved ONCE to please relax. This is PAskiandride.com, of course we're going to back up our mountains. Everyone likes a mountain for certain reasons. Skidude hates Blue, and loves CB. I hate CB and I love Blue. It's your own opinion. I personally hate Hunter too. Sue me. To say peopole on this board can't ski is just plain ignorant, so don't say that. It really needs to snow, and mountains need to open. I can't take any more of this bickering that it seems we have to deal with once a week now, at least. Please, everyone chill, we don't want to have to close it. Keep it civil

Emtp, I don't know how far you are, but Ritz Camera in the Westgate Mall is very good. A very good friend of mine works there (the one that sold me the lense), he shoots w/ a Canon 10D, and some of the photoshoots he does for my car are just simply amazing. He is definatly very knowledgeable, and may be able to throw you a discount. Let me know if you ever need anything.

I bought that same lense, the 28-135 USM IS, but I got it for $300 from a friend.... Anyway, you think $500 is expensive ski? Ask Mtnbiker99x how much each of his lenses are...he's got at least 3 f/2.8 lense (wide angle, normal, and telephoto) each easilly over $1200 a piece.

Anyone back on topic. Ski racing is not dying out. I think Rob proved that wrong at the PASR day last year at Bear Creek. I think EVERYONE enjoyed it more then they thought they would before they started. I know Greg did. I was inspiried by Ski999 to do NASTAR at Montage, and then I was hooked. I even had enough guts to race an ASRA w/ him, and he's right, watching Bartek ski is sooo amazing. On a course that was so flat, he was laying arcs over that I thought were impossible to, because of the speed needed on the flat course, but he was doing it. I wish I could do that. But anyway, racing is fun, everyone should try NASTAR some time, I know you'll get hooked. BTW, there is hope for everyone. I taught myself the form that I have now, pretty much in one season... Can't wait to improve more next year

Rob, please be a ranger. Camelback needs more rational, non-crazy Rangers. The actual reason why TRCB was started, was because Camelback locked a thread that Greg had started at the the RideCB board, that dealt with rangers. We have come so far

From what Ski999 has told me, White Lightening at Montage is steeper then Denton's trail, as they have had races on dentons trail....no way you could hold a race, for juniors, on white lightening, just WAY to steep. It was rather intimidating for PA, ever for Vermont. It rivals the stuff at Killington on Bear Mountain.

I know Okemo Mountain School offers both racing and freestyle training....
