    A rumor

'Dude, yea, that's the problem. They had bumps last year, just no fresh snow on it. If you were at Blue early morning on Main street / barnies bumps, blue just blows snow on that trail like crazy, and doesnt groom it. They'd blow on the bumps and on the main street side. it made for some soft moguls in the morning, and some fresh stuff. by the end of the day, noobs had ice'ed it all up again. but as long as they blow each night, they're fine. it'd be nice to see a bump run...blue's got a nice one going on
  6. i don't have one, my friend's dad is the CEO of a rather large medical company, and uses their jet. Definatly. The cost of lift tickets + gas for a one day trip would be so much, especially those coming from philadelphia or new york (in camelbacks case)
  7. Add the cost of gas to drive there, and back, and it's not a $25 lift ticket anymore...
  8. Yea okemo uses them, it just clips together, works well... but good job dharrisburg
  9. I know you like to bust people's balls, but there is no need to prove this. So many members of this board have witnessed him do it. He even did it at White Lightning at Montage, which is absoloutly the steepest thing in PA, and rivals some of the greats at Killington. He went straight down. And it's not exactly a short trail either. He just goes straight down all of the Diamonds at Camelback, without a single turn. His jacket makes so much noise because it is flapping so much. When Ski999 is impressed by a snowboarder, you know they are good. He was infact impressed with all the boarders that rode with us at Montage....
  10. We can have our new resident ski patroler, Dthmtluncrn, to supervise I'm sure the other CB patrollers on the board wouldn't care, and would keep the rangers away
  11. just noticed that tonight....any reason why jeep backed out?

Is it me, or are the new GS:11s darker then your 21m ones? Blah blah blah...I really want to try out those SL:11s AND I want you to give me your rock GS:11s
  16. Even her kids don't do it anymore (well adam will be back eventually) but as of now, it' s only her
  17. Yea, it's a great feature, puts more weight right in the narrowest part the ski, allowed them to bend easier, too.
  18. Skimom, look at Step 10, you can see the 5 lines. By moving the tab to the right in the front of the binding, you can slide the whole assembly forwards/backwards on the track. It allows for you to repoisiton your weight more forward on the ski to turn quicker, or backwards for a more stable, less turny ski. Sure it only moves about 1.5 inches, but moving 185 lbs 1.5 inches forwards makes a HUGE difference. My GS:9s turn like slalom skis in their forward position, while in the back position they track at highspeeds like no other. Ski999 witnessed first hand the difference, all day I had it all the way back, ripping big turns, then for two runs I slid it forward, and making tight turns down a headwall at montage, i spilled cause they were turning so quickly. It's a good workout, since they turn so much quicker, it's a great innovation, like 5 skis in one. I bet I could almost use my GS:9s in an SL course.
  19. dude, lol, that's what the red tab is for in front of the binding, it slides the WHOLE ASSEMBLY forwards and backwards. Push it to the right, all the way, and move the binding. It may require alot of force cause it's new, but it'll loosen up once the grease gets all in the tracks. No, it's the backwards release. I keep mine locked, as most people do.
  20. Skifreak, DIN settings/release checks are bogus. I'll mount your bindings for you, for free.
  21. Well I had to go back and reinstallt he front posts once or twice, till I decided where I wanted them....and even now, I think I'm going to move them forward...but I'd say 20 minutes? If I knew the exact way I wanted them, I could easilly do it in 10...all it is is screw screws into predrilled holes.
  22. My angel eyes for the M3 came in a smashed box from UPS with the halos snapped in half. looked like someone stepped on it. My aunt is a post master, and when I told her my GS:9s came via USPS, she said I hope they aren't snapped in half. She explained the process of sorting, and how much of a beating the boxes take. oh but congrats on the new gear
  23. ' yours look like it sticks out over the back as well....I could move the whole assembly forward, but I don't know if I want to do it...we'll see
