Just east of the hump yard, with the train heading west towards the hump. It was moving faster than I've ever seen a train move through that area. -

Yes. 20/21 season starts after the first snowfall after the last resort closes.

How fast have you had that Sonic up to?

You could also go without power. 🤷♂️

Social distancing at it's finest (shots from Bethlehem's protest)..at least I see masks and no nostrils....

@saltyant supports his mom in addition to himself. I don't blame him for being concerned.

I think there is an "up" and "down" route from the originally gravity powered train? The original up is an improved trail according to what I read?
-
Aren't there two different routes? I read that one is mountain bike friendly, the other is gravel?
-
Have you biked up the switchback trail from Jim Thorpe? Looks like a nice steady climb @saltyant.

Cor-rect. Besides my parents and my brother, I can count the number of people I've had non-socially distant unprotected interactions on two hands. 5 of them are on here, and most of them have only been very recently. I'm extremely cautious about those who I don't have a good handle on their precautions, etc.

If not then, definitely by mid-July, based on the timeline the previous yellow counties went green.

possibly the rockiest place in the world.

Very often!? A very healthy friend of mine got the flu two years ago and he was pretty sick. That's when I started getting the shot. Prior to that I don't think I knew anyone personally that has had the flu.

I'm loving WFH. The first few weeks were tough, but now I have a good routine. I work fewer hours overall, but I still get the same amount done. It's like I was wasting time at work walking around talking to people, etc 😂 I do miss the social aspect, but it's a far better work/life balance. Not that it was bad before 🤷♂️

OK, at least we agree on that. Contract tracing is a very hot topic as of late as Apple just released their iOS update to support their contract tracing API. I think Doug was talking about digital contract tracing...but you clearly weren't.
-
Except you might not know the people who you saw while out grocery shopping. That's the point of the contract tracing apps. I think that's what we're talking about here?

Personal data protection/privacy is a very serious topic and will be a serious topic long after this pandemic. It's not something you should just brush aside. There are ways to achieve contract tracing and privacy but don't call people idiots for caring about their privacy. Your privacy is a lot more permanent than this pandemic.

Maybe try to form a coherent sentence to present your case. I think Apple and Google have done a decent job at doing their best to accomplish the goal without compromising individual privacy, but nothing is fool proof. It's a serious concern and needs to be at the forefront of these types of technical solutions.

Probably not, but that has nothing to do with the current state of affairs.
