Mark @ BC said the results were sent to NASTAR, but as i've said in a previous post, NASTAR im sure is VERY busy, as Nationals was this week. The 'dude and Ridge should be home today, so hopefully we find out how it went in all that snow out there The dude rippin through the snow (thanks to Playhard (dr. liz) @ the NASTAR forum)
-
because BC was having trouble connecting to the NASTAR DB, and the alternate way of submiting the results didn't work...
-
they're probably really busy because of nationals, but BC had to manually sibmit them to NASTAR, and i guess nastar has yet to post them

Two places that confuse me. Pharoh (at CB of course) and the bottom of main street. Bottom of main street is always sugary. Anyway, I usually use the top 1/2 for arcing, and when it's still early, and hard, that can be a nice ripping trail.... Btw, GREAT conditions today, it was rock solid up until 11 (i did 20+ laps on razors edge, wanted to make my final few, all out, lay it over, GS arcs). After that it started to loosen up just a bit, but the sun went away and it cooled down, so I was still making arc after arc until i left at 12:30. 31 runs of GS goodness.

whew! Skidude and the kid from NJ cooked everyone else! But man oh man, was Ridge's age group tight or what...jeez! The first 3 guys were all within 1 handicap points of each other great jobs guys!

nice pics! some great shots...

I think I saw you today, red and orange jacket right? You weren't wearing goggles right? I saw you in the singles line, and yelled your named, but you didn't turn around
-
skifreak was there today, said it was nice. The snow should freeze tonight, which means probably 3 laps of FIRM snow on razors edge. Watch out for me laying it down, cause i want to get a few laps of HARD arcs down, but after the snow comes out, the soft bumps should form, and it should be a beauitful day. Mid 40's with the sun!

skimom's best run put her in 3rd!
-
he was back a decent amount of time, but I know how the dude works, he let's people get their confidence up, and then BOOM, he reels them in
-
i was going to mention that. I guess i was wrong, i thought miles debray was at nationals, but i guess he's not....That's even better for the 'dude
-
anyway! Results are in for today!!!! Adam's best run put him in 2nd. Ridge's best run put him in 4th. Skimom's results weren't in yet... http://www.nastar.com/index.jsp?pagename=r...r=501&year=2005

Well, today is Day #1 for the 'dude. He attended a clinic yesterday, and hopefully will be faster then ever. Unfortunatly, the #1 kid in his age group, who is at Nationals, is also the #1 male in the nation, and he runs about 1% slower then Darron Rahlves does, so we can only hope for the worst (for the kid, that is).... thanks to JTBear @ the NASTAR forum for the picture.... Ridge attended the camp too, so we're defaintly expecting a podium finish, at least, hopefully gold....Papasteeze & Ridge....Steezemachine was probably off eating salt or sugar packets... thanks to JTBear @ the NASTAR forum for the picture.... Adam, if he skis well, will be all over the gold medal, however, it's tough competition against this "Miles Debray" i think his name is. I'm going to go conservative and say Silver for the 'dude, and Gold for ridge! Comeon dude, you get beat him!

I see skis in shops, especially nestors, that are like $700 for a pair of volkl 5stars. I think to myself..."HAHA! I paid $425 shipped for my Atomic GS:9's w/ bindings, and they're a better ski" Never pay shop prices. Ski999 got a pair of GS:11s, BRAND NEW for like $195 right? You'd pay $800 in a shop for them. You can pick up this years GS:11s for around $400 on ebay right now, brand new, since it's the end of the season. Goto a shop, you'd be paying full price. Ebay rocks

Ski999 and Skidude have bought and sold countless pairs of skis on ebay (we called it skidudebay, cause he buys EVERYTHING from ebay)... I bought my Atomic's off of ebay too. For '999, 'dude, and myself, we know exactly what we want, and just have to find the ski. The best thing do is demo it, then buy off of ebay, because touching it in the store, and looking at the picture really makes no difference. As forumdestroyer said, Justo8484 has 4frnts. He works at Nestors, and I don't believe they sell them, so I don't know where he got them.

haha, losing balls? When I hit a ball in the water, i don't say "DAM! there goes 2 strokes", i'm thinking "CRAP! That's $4 gone!" as EACH Titleist ProV1 is $4 (pretty much just have to grab your ankles when you buy them) People wonder why I try to get the ball back so much. I have no emotional attachment to it, i have a financial attachment to it

'999 and I will be there at 12 And I'm going to apologize in advance for any comments '999 makes about twintippers

BC was having a problem w/ their computer. I've contacted Bear creek and NASTAR HQ about the problem. going to email nastar again, it's starting to make me mad
-
I didn't take it, Wolverine did, but yea, WL is insane. I've said it plenty of times in the past, if only it had grippy snow when I was there. I sooo wanted to rip a big arc down it

End of July last year, LBI was getting like 12 foot waves i think? Because when i was out in the water at our house in Stone Harbor (coincidentally, ole2planker stayed at a place a few weeks ago on the same street as our house ) I was gettinh it by waves WAY over me head, and they had some serious strength. Some serious stuff. I don't bash NJ waves, I love going to the beach, but I love going to our lake house even more My mom and I like the lake, my dad and my bro are beach people
