I picked up lunch from one of my normal lunch spots today. They've always taken food safety seriously (prior to corona), and have taken it to an extreme now, so I'm happy to support my usual spots. But, as @theprogram4 said, traffic levels are picking up big time. When I went for a trail run yesterday, 22 was way worse at 4:15pm than it was two weeks ago at the same time.

The honey-do list has to be getting pretty short at this point.

My boot fitter lost his dad to the virus last week ... in other news my aunt is still holding steady with a cough and no fever despite testing positive.

After a nice 75 mile rip today, I noticed that I've been riding like a pussy since I got new tires....need to get that knee out 🤷‍♂️ when we going for a ride @indiggio?

Snow is thought so far removed from my brain right now. Last year I skied like 6 weeks from now. Hard to comprehend that right now.

My dad has his PPP money in hand as of last Friday morning. 🤷‍♂️

I cut my own hair on Friday 🤷‍♂️ It looks the same as when I get a haircut at the barber, but cleanup was a mess, so whatever I spend at the barber is money well spent.

I've been paying my cleaning people. They've missed two cleaning because of the lockdown, and one prior to that because I had just gotten back from Switzerland and was self quarantining. They were beyond happy. I can't say the same though...I hate cleaning.

But don't kid yourself saying you're low middle class. Lower middle class doesn't take multiple ski trips a year 🤑

Since you said you got the full stimulus check, you make less than $75,000 a year. That isn't enough to qualifier as "upper class" for a single person in the LV as Pew Research says that line is at $79k, but you obviously are in the upper middle class. Pew says lower class for a single person is <$27k, so I'd say you are definitely upper middle class.

It's true. I work for the school with the largest endowment in the area, and when most or all of the returns on that money is used for financial aid, it means we still rely on tuition dollars, etc. Most international students pay full freight, which subsidizes some US based students who have a greater financial aid need. Not having students on campus means less dining revenue, fewer purchases in the bookstore....and most important of all, no housing income. In this new time, we still have all the costs associated with maintaining the facilities that now don't have a revenue stream and we still have to maintain all the academic infrastructure (technology, etc). Costs have gone down a little, sure. But revenue losses have far exceeded those costs. @NMSKI...there are only a few schools that can do what you claim...pretty much only the Ivys, but even then, not all of them. I'm sure you'll agree...never touch the principle. I do think it's ridiculous to give aid to cruise companies. They're 100% recreational. The airlines are a key part of our national transportation system, though. I have less of a problem there, however, I do think they should've been a little more fiscally responsible during their record growth/profit years of late.

I have one of their locations 100ft from my office. Bagels are on point. The last couple of years when I’ve brought bagels for the closing day, I got them at Johnny’s.

I saw tons of PA 1-call markings in your 'hood and saw a spool of SDR11 duct on a reel trailer at the bottom of your road. Are you getting RCN in the neighborhood? Couldn't think why anyone else would be installing all that duct now.
